I used to avoid flat (digital)water color brushes, now I'm using it a lot to paint large shapes. I save the round brushes for details and curved softer forms.

Droodles by Roger Price (from his 1953 book). Droodles (a blend of “doodle”, “drawing”, “riddle”) are simple drawings with a witty, often absurd, caption. The first one, as some of you may know, was used by Frank Zappa for his 1982 album, Ship Arriving Too Late to Save a Drowning Witch. (Zappa, a fan of Price's work, lived just a few miles from the artist and personally sought permission to use the image.)

These come from the 1972 edition of the book.

Oh and also, back in March some friends and I got a table in Vancoufur's Artist Alley! They did a bunch of work putting together this big complicated computer setup so I could do some drawings on an old Amiga using Deluxe Paint IV. I brought my A500 (pictured), but the picture quality wasn't the best after splitting the video output (we had one monitor facing outward and a PVM facing me), so we used my friend's 1200 instead (hidden under the wooden stand). I've wanted to try tabling at a con for a long while and it was very fun! :D
