Loyalty

What does it really mean? To be a loyal friend/lover/life companion..? Well, you can’t have loyalty without trust. That much has always been certain. You can love someone, but without that trust, it’s never gonna go anywhere. Some girls have gone through so many untrustworthy fuck-trons that their ability to accept new people and to build stronger, more lasting relationships has been irreparably broken. It’s an awful thing, to see beautiful people so hurt over love, when it should be the easiest, most wonderful thing in the universe. They berate themselves for being too trusting and allowing themselves to get “drawn in” by heartless, mouth-breathing assholes who will literally say and do anything to get you in the sack just one time before they move on to the next one. And now, their trust is broken, right before a real man who won’t do them dirty crosses their path. But she won’t say anything to him. She won’t accept his offer of a night out at a show or a movie. She’ll just smile and nod and give him a generic excuse and send him on his way. All because some, fucking douchebag had to break her trust. Loyalty, guys. Ponder that shit.
