Many may know Say Lou Lou for being nominated for the BBC Sound of 2014. The Swedish- Australian twin sisters released their first album in February and I cannot believe that I haven’t heard of them up until know. The dreamy atmosphere of their songs is perfect for nights sitting in your room all alone. Julian, already released in 2013 is one of my favorite songs of the album as it feels like you are taken to a different world and you can just sit back and relax while listening to this masterpiece! I already can’t wait for their next album.

Finally something new from Lana del Rey. We’ve all been waiting for it and here it is- “High By The Beach”. After I was kinda disappointed with her second album I hope her third,called Honeymoon will be more like “Born to die”. And the first single sound very promising as it is more catchy and even has kind of an hip hop influence. I also really like the video. It’s the typical Lana style video we all love.

I know a lot of critics are saying that MS MR’s sophomore album isn’t as good as their first one,but I kinda have to disagree. I already loved the first single “Painted” as soon as it came out and I now love the whole album as well. It’s just as good as Second Hand Rapture, but different. How Does It Feel sounds more poppy and with more beats. My faves of the new album are “Painted”, “Criminals”, “No Guilt in Pleasure”, “How Does it Feel” and “Pieces” which is probably my album fave!

Found Little Daylight’s music a couple of weeks ago browsing itunes. They’re a band from Brooklyn, New York with Nikki Taylor as the lead singer. Their first album is titled “Hello Memory” and is really a breath of fresh air. There are no songs I want to skip and it’s just a perfect record for the summer as it just makes you happy and jump out of joy with their cool drum and syntheziser arrangements! Unfortunately it has only ten songs, but most of them are around 4 minutes, so it’s not too bad.
