Sandor canonically switching to goblin language when he sweared in lodestar is so funny to me I can't tell if he did that out of instinct or because he forgot that Sophie is a polyglot and didn't want her to understand what he said
Marella when she talk about burning someone alive but made everyone scared of her:
'I asked ChatGPT-'
Okay well I asked Sophie foster and she described to me the absolute perfectness of Biana's lips, the exact colour and glossiness, in this essay I will -
pissing me off that the angriest grady and alden have been at their kids so far is when they snuck off to see keefe. like really? youre doing all this bc they wanted to visit their best friend (and they gained super valuable information) like dude.
sophie finally calling out grady on his bullshit double standards with keefe thank GOD🙏🙏
sandor suffers more than anyone. no one ever wants him around or wants to listen to him. hes been inflicted on. he was thrown off a cliff and broke (almost) every bone in his body. shannon wants to kill him in every book. now his situationship is the bodyguard of sophies situationship and shes calling him sweetie and forcing him to dance with her. and the only time he ever gets any sleep is sophies history class (which she doesnt go to anymore bc her other more annoying situationship blew up the school)
sophie foster #1 teenage girl of all time
in the lost cities being an empath comes with a free side of personality disorder
national yaoi day? evb say happy birthday to tam
HC that elves only have sex when trying to reproduce, since they don’t want any “accidental babies” and it’s seen as this beautiful ritual that you only get the privilege to do once married and ready for kids. But since it’s so personal and special no one is taught about it and have to “trust their instincts” when the time comes. But Sophie, who was around high schoolers at age eight, has been disgustingly educated on sex, especially after finding an ACOTAR book at age 11.
So imagine they’re all having a sleepover and Sophie has this realization; “Wait, don’t you guys have sex?” And then someone goes “what’s sex? You mean the Elite Reproductive Ritual?” And Sophie’s just fucking floored.
tam being edgy and mysterious during sophies first real meeting w the twins is really funny bc like. sophie was being just as mysterious and edgy. she keeps asking weird questions abt the plague and talking abt her mysterious allies and dangerous monsters that lurk in the dark. like no wonder tam was on edge bc sophie mustve seemed crazy
people say that Keefe and Grady are very similar, but I only think that that applies to a certain degree
Both Keefe and Grady have a particular sense of humor, and it's safe to say that they may have been similar when Grady was younger. And they both have very powerful abilities. The difference: Keefe has friends who support him. Grady probably did not.
In exile, he talked about how kids at Foxfire didn't really trust him. He was alone. His parents didn't fully understand what he was going through, and it's clear that it had a huge impact on his mental well-being. And it's an ability that the council clearly exploits. I think somewhere in the series he mentions something about the council never fully letting him resign.
He is more similar to Sophie in this matter. Sophie is very powerful, and from a very young age as well. The council is (in my opinion) trying to exploit her powers now that they've appointed her as a regent. Grady was telling her that she has had a huge burden dumped on her--and that he knows what that's like. He is scared of his own power, just like Sophie.
And when it comes to dealing with problems, it's like fight or flight for them. Keefe takes flight, Grady fights.
I think that Grady is more similar like Fitz this way. Fitz has trouble with emotional regulation, and he lashes out. Canonically we know that Grady struggled with anger management issues when he was younger as well, and as he has grown, he learned how to control his emotions much better. But he still slips sometimes and when he does it's absolutely terrifying. When he broke Fintan's face in nightfall, (love you Fintan xoxo) and when Vespera and Gisela said that he was the most ruthless elf they've ever met (this is coming from fucking war criminals!!) and they are completely and utterly RIGHT. He has learned how to use his anger as a weapon. He is capable of murder. Like Fitz, (Who dropped arguably one of the hardest lines in the series: Wiityispb) and was ready to kill his brother. You CAN'T tell me that they aren't similar in that aspect.
cassius and gisela obsession au walk with me walk with me walk with me
this made me laugh really hard💔💔💔 theyre insufferable

The government in the lost cities is very. Mind boggling. What do you mean the three titles are Emissary, Regent, and Middle School teacher
i think Oralie should get to have and All-American Bitch by Olivia Rodrigo style crashout in the next book. I think she deserves to get really mad
