The best part about still living with Xavier was that Lucy was able to leave the twins in the comfort of their own home, under the watch of their father while she went out. She had been advised by many people, including her doctors and her her mother over a three hour long phone call, to not do any type of physical activity until she was completely healed from giving birth. But, taking a break was the complete opposite of everything Lucy had ever done. After a quick stop at the grocery store to pick up a few things, the new mother found herself parking her car at the park and getting out for a nice walk around. It wasnāt soon after she started her walk that it turned into an hour long run around the park. But she needed it. She loved her children, she really did. But, she was extremely overwhelmed and the twins were only two days old. She had these heavy feeling over her that she couldnāt do this, that she wasnāt going to be a good mother and that Luna and Liam were going to end up hating her in the long run. She hasnāt even noticed she had started to cry from her thoughts until she was crying so hard that her chest felt heavy enough to make it hard to breathe and her sobs were loud enough to shock even herself. She stopped running and sat down in the middle of the walking trail as she tried to calm herself down.
it wasnāt even an understatement to say that marcus did live during the night. he was a bar owner. on top of that, he was a party boy. it was a wonder that he ever got any sleep at all. of course, not including the sleep he got after having sex with some random girl. that even he had not done the latter, but could still feel his eyelids growing heavy. knowing he could not stay awake any longer, he made sure that everything was in place in the bar before heading out and heading for his house. his house was not that far away, thus sometimes he did not even bother taking a car to work. today happen to be one of those days. with his ears plugged and hands stuffed in his pockets, the male set his way home. music blasting his eardrums in hopes of that keeping him awake, but all it took was the all too familiar sight of a blonde figure sitting in the middle of a walking trail to shake him awake. immediately, he unplugged his ears and approached the figure. not even sure if it was lucy, but he was not about to take any chances. they might not be full siblings, but the wholeĀ ā half-sisterĀ ā crap had never matter to him. she was family at the end of the day. the only people that could pull real emotions out of him.Ā ā lucy ?Ā ā genuine concern lacing his words and eyes.Ā ā lucy, what the hell are you doing here ?Ā ā he asked, rushing to her side.Ā
