🌷  ~  | violet watched the other as he spoke to her. “ well i do put on a good show “ she smiled, being a little flirtatious with the other. she nodded when he mentioned her lifestyle as she was sure that people would love her lifestyle as much as she did. “ well my next scheduled performance is saturday but i’m sure i could arrange something for you. “

“I’m too unprepared for this, I’m wearing a flannel that’s three days old honestly, I’m embarrassed, I promise I’ll put much more effort when we go to the bar. “ She let her tongue scrape up any remaining orange bits from her mouth before leaning forward and tapping the glass on the counter in hopes it would get someone’s attention. “Do you have like a special talent you do?”

🌷  ~  | “ it’s fine, i mean we’re just coming out for drinks it’s not as if we’ve gone a a five star restaurant “ violet reassured the other. “ but if we do go to some fancy restaurant then you probably should change your shirt “ she teased. “ hmm well apart from dancing and makeup i guess i like to make my own costumes ! what about you ? “

“you’re very pretty,” avery smiled. “i’m sure you make a beautiful drag queen.” he hadn’t been but he felt as though her personality was bright and she’d do well with anything she was passionate about. “sounds like you enjoy it,” he commented before flushing at the mention of date. “oh- i, um, a date,” he murmured, fingers tangling in the hem of his shirt

🌷  ~  | “ aw thank you sweetie “ violet smiled at the complement that he just gave her. “ i do enjoy it ! it was my dream to be a performer and i’m happy that i’m able to do it “ violet began to giggle at the others reaction to the mention of the date “ oh i’m teasing you. this isn’t a date unless you want it to be a date “ she said softly.

“you should totally brag.” skylar said with a firm nod. “i know people say it’s not nice but hey, if you’re doing a wonderful job and people are praising you for it, then why wouldn’t you? that’s the way i see it anyways.” they were glad about the change in setting, the bar they had picked together hadn’t turned out as great as sky expected and they were more than ready to move on. standing up from their chair, they extended their hand out for violet. “good and cheap drinks? i’m in, let’s go!”

🌷  ~  | violet laughed a little and nodded in agreement “ i think that if you’ve got it then flaunt it. but then again i am in love with myself so maybe that’s just me being narcissistic “ she stood up from her chair and straightened out her clothes before she looked at the others hand. violet flashed a smile as she took it and looked down at them. “ i’ll lead the way. “ she said as she pulled skylar out of the bar.

 ↦ DAISY gave a big grin as the other spoke, “I thought I’d seen you before.” Leaning against the wall beside her as the two of them spoke, giving a nod, “that must be a fun job - how long have you been doing drag?” The offer lingered for a moment, she didn’t like the word ‘date’ so pursing her lips together, Daisy thought for a moment. “I thought we were just getting coffee, isn’t dinner supposed to be the first date and then a movie or something?” She was teasing, before giving a shrug - “I’d love to come see the show though, what songs do you generally do?” 

🌷  ~  | “ i’ve been doing drag for almost 6 years now ! “ she said before she paused for a second “ but then again i was dressing up in my big sisters clothes ever since i was like 3 or something “ she chuckled. “ well yeah we’re getting coffee but like it’s not a date date, it can just be like a friend date “ violet smiled softly as she didn’t mind if it was a real date or if it was just two friends grabbing coffee. “ i love to perform burlesque ! i usually lip sync to like 1940-70s music “

             “Holy shit r e a l l y ?” Kayden questions with a big smile. It was exciting to find out that the other was such an amazing drag queen. He h a d n ’ t seen the show they’d put on but the talk around town about it s u n g it’s praises. “That would be  f u c k i n g amazing.”

silas inclines his head , a smirk playing at his lips “ i thought you looked familiar. “ he chuckles “ working three days a week at a club pays well enough that you can turn up every other day of the week ? “ a grin stretches across his face “ sounds like my kind of lifestyle. “ second date. oh , he doesn’t do those. “ i’ll definitely be by to see you perform. “ 

🌷  ~  | “ oh really ? have you seen me perform before ? “ she smiled softly, she was always happy to meet people who had seen her perform before. “ ah well as one of the best girls there i get paid enough and enough tips to be able to live a comfortable lifestyle but sometimes i like to turn up when i’m not on shift because i love to perform ! “ a smile was plastered across her face as she spoke about he career, she really did love to perform in drag. “ yeah totally ! it’ll be nice to see you there ! “

“sthisadate?” There was an orange slice in her mouth, an accompaniment to the beer she’d long since drained, it made every word that tumbled out of her lips unintelligible. Acknowledging her foolishness, she grinned at Violet, showing off the rind of the slice and popping it out of her mouth with a laugh. “Sorry– but yeah, sure, I’d love that.”

🌷  ~  | she smiled at the positive reaction she received “ yeah i love working there, like i get to make a good living doing what i love ! not to brag but people around say i’m one of the best girls in that joint so i’m glad that people enjoy my performances ! “ violet tended to say ~ not to brag ~ and then proceed to brag about herself but she loved talking about herself and boasting about her career. “ of course we can head over to the bar now ! the drinks are pretty cheap so this should be fun ! “

🌷  ~  | she laughed as the other spoke about himself all dragged up. “ you wouldn’t be the best fishiest queen ; i do have to admit that “ she smiled. she let out a long breath as her { corset } was finally loose enough to allow her to breath freely. “ that corset is going to kill me one day, i swear one day i’m going to drop dead on stage because i can’t breath. “ she put a p i n k chiffon dressing gown over the top of her b l a c k underwear. “ of course i’m going to enjoy the party tonight !! it’s a saturday and we haven’t spent the night together in so long ! “ she always enjoyed spending her saturday nights at the bar especially when she got to spend time with oliver.

If Oliver had labels for himself, he’d be: brazilian, scorpio, ballerino, slut and Violet’s number one supporter. Everytime she had a performance, he’d show up with the most welcoming and sweet smile, he’d be right in the front row and he’d fill her with compliments afterwards, that’s how proud of her he was. Oliver sang along with the song, danced and, as always, made friends with the people around him. He was batshit drunk and all he could see was Violet’s grace while performing. As soon as she left the stage, he moved quickly to the back door of the club, and since the security already knew his face from other nights, he was allowed inside.

– BITCH – Olie screamed, walking towards Violet as soon as he found her – That was just… – he said, with a wide smile on his face – Honestly, I hate you, I’d look ridiculous doing that. – he laughed, turning to her.

🌷  ~  | she could hear that familiar voice as soon as oliver stepped into the backstage. violet came away from her vanity table and walked over to the other with { open arms } “ baby ! “ she exclaimed, happy to see him. she engulfed him in her arms and towered above him as a result of her [ 7 inch heels ]. she pulled away from the hug “ oh i bet you’d look great in a dress and a nice brown lace front “ violet laughed “ obviously you wouldn’t be as good as me but you’d be better than a few girls at the joint “ she knew that she was one of the b e s t and she was proud of that fact. “ but hey i wouldn’t be able to dance as good as you ! “ she walked back over to her vanity “ could you be a dear and undo my corset for me ? “

🌷  ~  | her tiny cinched waist and her perfectly painted face wasn’t at fault, for anyone who just entered the club could believe that she had only just started her performance.  she lifted her arms above her head bringing her black curly hair with above with her head too. she was a picture of a g o d d e s s in that moment.

violet smiled as her song finished and she received heaps of cheers and multiple dollar bills here thrown her way, coming to land by her feet on the stage. a microphone was brought out to her by a club worker. she stepped to it “ thanks to everyone for coming tonight, make sure you guys stick around and see the other lovely girls performing to night “ she smiled “ or don’t “ she let out a small chuckle as she spoke “ it’s been wonderful, thank you ~ ! “ she quickly crouched down before she left the stage to collect all of her tips from the show. violet was planning to stay around tonight as it was saturday night and it had been a while since she had drunk with her friends at the bar.
