there…has been a issue with carn…a…bad issue…he went on another rampage tearing Apart multiple cogs…he has been restrained in a repair area but….he is incredibly weak now…and is refusing to cooperate with us we are hoping you might be able to help us? - from Ursula

Coming back into her office after a rather unsightly "argument" with Westerdile, Toonie picked up the lettet left upon their desk and read it over. Sighing they put it back upon their desktop, brushed their hands off on their pants from the uncomfortable texture of the letter, and began their treck to Carn's designated repair wing.

*upon entering carn is tied to the table breathing deeply covered in oil with large gaping holes in his body*

*he twitches and growls occasionally….it looks painful*

*the oil leaking out of him has a red metalic tint to it*

*ursula stands in the corner her arm wrapped up in towels*

Cogsworth looked slightly rough for wear themselves, albeit less scathed. Their shirt slightly torn in claw like gashes, a few specks of stray oil speckling their arms and a fair bit of dirt on their attire, a few strands of hair out of place.

Quietly closing the door behind them they went straight to Ursula for information on the situation

i dont know what happened…he suddenly went berserk…luckily fest wasn’t there this time…

*she removes the towel from her arm….its leaking oil BAD and is torn up*

but i wasnt so lucky…i did find a dart in his back..

*she hands her a dart that has just a little bit if a shiny red liquid in it*

Looking the dart over they roll it around in their fingers, investigating every little inch of it. She put it down on a nearby table and walked around to a cabinet where they retrieved a roll of bandages to bring back to Ursula, seems they know every repair wing inside and out despite not frequenting them herself often.

She was dreadful quiet the entire time, she wasn't even mimicking breathing. Must of been a pretty miserable brawl with that crocodile.

Walking back to Ursula she gently took her arm and began wrapping it mindfully to help with the wound, there was no need for disinfectant since cogs didn't get sick like toons. Once her arm was tightly bound Cogsworth used her teeth to tear the bandage apart and tuck it securely under a layer of fabric.

Walking to Carn they looked him over, checking to see if he was conscious

*he looks almost…feral his eyes darting like a trapped prey creature* *he occasionally growls and twitches oil trickling from the corner of his mouth and with each breath out a small amount of smog leaves his mouth and a few holes in his body*

*when turning the dart the words “blueblood inc.” are faded onto it*

Staring at him for a bit they contemplated on what to do, they weren't certified repair staff they just knew how to repair themselves minimally.

They didn't know Carn very well and didn't completely understand him, they just knew he had repair pains and refused to get them looked at for trauma reasons. However having him restrained left a lot of room for trying to fix what the repair team couldn't due to their anxieties.

Looking back to Ursula they spoke, their voice shallow and straight forward. "What does he need fixed?"

from what i know of leg joints…a new battery…and ventilation needs a deep clean…heard him coughing alot… and fix up the holes in him…

Id be careful….

Giving a curt nod they began scavenging around the room for replacement parts and necessary tools to get into Carn, splaying out their collection on a wheeled table they then pulled out their phone to contact someone. Stepping out of the room for a moment they talked to the cog on the other end before hanging up and returning inside.

"One of my coworkers is going to help me since no one else is here and you need to rest."

*Ursula waits for a moment*

It took a while but soon Daphne Lonsden quietly came through the door, she pushed up her glasses and went straight to Cogsworth's side, she was here strictly on business. She gave a polite nod to Ursula but focused strictly on Toonie as they both conversed quietly on the plan of action.

Once they had a plan Daphne went to one side of Carn and Cogsworth on the other to begin working on Carn's many issues

*carns pupils turn to slits as he thrashes and growls panicking and even breaking one of the restraints on his arm*

"Hey! Hey! None of that! We're here to help you." Daphne was quick to pin his shoulder down, she was stronger than her thin frame looked

Toonie was quick to look to Ursula for advice on how to either calm him down or to find his emergency shut off switch

*he snaps wildly at the air panicking even more* Get….OFF…GET OFF OF ME

*his voice sounds strained…like he is forcing himself to use it* *he uses whats left of his free arm to grab daphnes wrist slightly digging his claws in as a warning*

*he looks…terrified *

Daphne winced a little at the claws grazing her tough metal shell, it was more in fear than pain.

"Please, you need to calm down, we're just trying to help." She kept her voice calm and stable as to not freak him out further

i…may know how to calm him down…try to scratch under his chin

Both cogs looked to each other before nodding in unison, Cogsworth used their claw like fingers to gently start scratching under Carn's chin in hopes of it calming him down

*carn squints his eyes for a moment in hesitation before purring* *he lets go of daphne and relaxes a bit* *he still seems a bit tense* *as he purrs a bit of oil and smog drips from the corner of his mouth….not supposed to happen*
