This illustration is a mix of ink and gouache paint.
I am trying to create a coloring page and the final image will probably be digital and more detailed. I would like to make it a file that anyone can download and print out to color themselves. Someday I might have enough pages for a coloring book.
I have never created coloring pages before. If anyone has any advice or tips for me, please let me know by messaging me on tumblr or emailing me at [email protected]

Progress
Saw the psychiatrist today. Went p well, except she suggested I refrain from keeping a blog until I’ve done more medical research on my disorder. And she’s fine with my idea of being a writer, but that I should write privately rather than on a public platform, at least while I’m healing? Can hardly wait to see the psychologist. Sighs.
It’s so hard to focus on reading, I’m worried it’ll take forever for me to be able to read any sort of medical book. But I’ll try. I re-read some Louis Sachar and Jerry Spinelli yesterday, cried and teared up and such.Need to read more Sachar.
Sooo I won’t be posting on here for a while, few weeks maybe. Or maybe I’ll rebel. We’ll see.
Memories
Been finding a lot of old trinkets, mainly pieces of paper, in between books in our house.
Decided to go through my old books and sheets of paper, relived some nice memories, but since I’m still having trouble reading I didn’t read through all the content (most of it was notes I exchanged with an old friend during junior and high school). Might actually read through them tomorrow. I’m starting to have trouble figuring out what to do with my day. Want to play the piano, but don’t want to bother people with its loudness. So am exercising more. Meh.
Down
Today wasn’t the best day, but am trucking on. Sister and mom password-protected the only laptop I have access to, and my Internet usage is limited to two hours a day. So I was depressed for most of the day, but forced myself to do things, ‘cause that’s what ya gotta do. Things looked up at night once Dad was home. He understands what I’m going through most.
Sister asked if I couldn’t just be given lithium or something. makes me feel terrible. but it’s okay. seeing psychiatrist tomorrow. looking forward to it.
EDIT: I've posted a second part of the journal...
Can’t focus on reading very well right now plus I’ve a lot of other things to look at first. This is going on the backburner for now.
Still haven’t read through everything I need to. This is just a reminder.
I predict a change.
timey wimey shit
Sleep II
Slept much.better today, without any kind of difficulty, but woke up pretty early still, meaning no on else is awake yet. It’s a bit lonely, honestly. Not like I don’t have plenty to do on the computer, though! Momtop is best ‘top.
Vendsyssel, since 1976
This has got to be the only flag in the world with a blue-orange-green colour scheme. The colours represent the sea, the beach, and the countryside. It looks a bit garish on a monitor but I imagine it’d work better in cloth.
Local custom states that only people born on Vendsyssel should fly this flag. Hopefully foreigners have a pass to post about it online.
While researching this post I discovered that this flag went up into space a few years ago. Far from the first flag in space, but certainly one of the more obscure.

Sleep
Woke up at 7:42 today.
Finally slept through the night properly without waking anyone else up, like a normal person should.
Truly, 42 is the meaning of life, the universe and everything
Puzzle
Recently, it feels like I’m putting a puzzle together a lot. It’s hard building a puzzle alone, but there are plenty of people to help me. Gonna make it be worth it, and build it as well as I can! It’s going to take a while, and a day feels like an eternity sometimes, but I’m getting there. Life is quite the fun ride.
Christmas
Was actually a lot of fun this year! It’s been a while since I had a good ol’ Mexican Christmas, since we’ve often visited my sister up in NYC for the past few years. It’s just not the same.
Got quite a few presents from the fam, and a super neat amigurumi yoshi from a friend. Hnngh.
Chrimbus with the cult is on the 27th. Such hype!
Also sent a couple of letters to online friends out yesterday, hopefully they get there fine!
Gym
I got a gym membership. Going to go with a friend just about every day.Wish me luck, I guess.
Life
What is it but a dream?
Once, I lent someone a book with Carroll’s writings. I mildly regret doing so, because I have not seen this book in years. But at the same time, it made the girl happy, so in the end we all win, I think. Books are wonderful gifts.
This is my umpteenth attempt at having a blog. Hopefully this one has less reblogs and such; that’s kind of what I’m going for here. Original content. Whatever that means, right?
So I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder about a month ago now. Been dealing with that. Taking meds. Having trouble sleeping properly. Weird shit keeps happening that I don’t really have anyone to talk to about. So I’m writing a blog instead.
The weird shit I won’t dwell on, because it’s pretty personal, but I’ll talk a bit about the meds. Apparently I’ve been taking too high a dose of a particular one called Epival which is really messing with my body, but the doctor finally suspended it so hopefully I’ll be fine for a while. She's also seeing me earlier than originally planned, so hopefully that works out for the best; I want to stop taking meds soon! Or you know, the lowest dosage, if possible.
Anyway, I’m a girl. Roxanna. And I like grammar. That’s about it. We’ll learn more as we go, since I’ve left a lot of stuff out. Nice to meet you, Internet, though I’ve actually been a denizen for a decade.
