misc notes
- ashton/charoite is probably the ONLY gem who hasnt rebelled in some sense. the rest have all gone rogue & joined/formed factions (seasnake + nate) or hidden away from homeworld (theo, cass, vivian (who got re-captured? gem experimented? many possibilites))
- seasnake fusion is kornerupine, weapon either a slingshot of sorts or a trebuchet); they frequently fuse for long periods, get restless and argue, unfuse, make up, then re-fuse ad infinitum
- theo is very wary of fusion and is a stickler for rules specifically relating to it. ‘you shouldn’t do that unless permitted or instructed to by a superior’ type beat. and everyone has to remind him that they’re rebels
