Hi there! My pseudonym is Marta Oresu! Glad to see everyone here! 🌟I was sincerely inspired by the KinitoPet project by Troy_en, and I decided to create my own fan project! Hehe, here are my motives and goals for creating it!~Why am I making this?
First of all, I want to create a companion for people who feel lonely or have an attention deficit. Everyone's favorite pink axolotl will be just like your friend! Hehe, of course, considering his... unique character!~ This was my initial motivation, and I am doing everything I can to achieve the desired result!
Secondly, the original KinitoPet game has sunk into my soul SO deeply that I just couldn't pass it by!
Sooo, here are my goals for this project (or what's currently in my plan):Breaking the fourth wall. When I first sat down to watch the original game, oh my God, you should have seen my face when this cute pink friend started turning on the webcam! It seemed INCREDIBLY COOL to me!
🖥️A friendly approach. Since my goal is to make a companion for lonely people, I will NOT be adding jumpscares or frightening elements associated with sudden screen changes.
🌸Hacker T9 features! Hehe, if I do it right (AND I WILL!), Kinito will be able to act as a smart T9 assistant! Meaning, he will actively correct your typos!And here is what I have already coded and working:Eye tracking: Kinito can keep an eye on your mouse cursor in real-time!
👁️Voice lines: At launch, Kinito greets you with 13 DIFFERENT GREETING PHRASES! (I plan to add even more variations later).The rest is currently in development, and I am actively working on it!(Oh, and one more thing!
I draw all the Kinito sprites myself, so I sincerely hope they don't turn out crooked!! ಥ_ಥ)
