I doubt anyone is going to read this since it feels like decades since the last time I’ve been here but the only and last things I can say is that one should choose who they dedicate their energy, love and time to. 

Life and fate can and will gift you the greatest people to meet. People, you will make memories with, get intimate with, people, you might start to love.

But just because you gave someone your all, doesn’t mean they will try to make the same efforts for you. Some might, some might not. 

Life is cruel and people can and will intentionally or unintentionally hurt you and make you question your worth to them. People you talked to several years will one day tell you that they’re not that interested in you and stop talking to you. 

But one has to arrange themselves with things like that which is very difficult. 

I myself didn’t move one inch ever since that happened and am still trapped somewhere in this limbo I created myself but maybe, maybe I will get better someday again. Not today or tomorrow, but someday. 

Pain is inevitable, but not a constant. Or so I try to believe.

there’s a misconception that grief only happens when we lose people. this is not true. we can grieve circumstances, relationships, missed opportunities. in fact, sometimes when you find yourself plagued with waves of emotion from sadness to melancholy you may be grieving yourself. the version of yourself that you might have been if things had been different, or if only you had said something, or if someone had stood up for you.
