LUNAFREYA NOX FLEURET by elize

Finally! I managed to finish my master degree, so now I‘m able to share my work with you again :) this time it’s my interpretation of Amanos version of Lunafreya! (The one on the Royal Edition cover of FFXV) I actually started with a master study of Frank Weston Bensons painting called „Summer“ but it kinda excalated and so I painted Lunafreya in her Amano dress which has a lot of Shiva elements in it :)

@rexdignus​ O’ LOVE, how tarnished did the oracle feel under his gaze, an unrelenting purity that whispered a trust undeserved by a being such as she. enter through hell’s narrow gate, led by flickering candlelight, a devil of pure white (HOW COULD YOU, LUNAFREYA? blood pours into fields of flames, life of eos fueled by his sacrifice, a soul predestined for death, a nightmare neverending) 

disgusting! lunafreya nox fleuret, you are but a vermin! an impulse bubbled in her, a desire to cover those beautiful cobalt hues ( please don’t look at me, please love me, please forgive me) ) to CRY as though the tears would wash away her sins. she cowers behind a mask of indifference, naught but a facade constructed for deceit. ❝ my prince, there is no need for deprecating your achievements.❞ the angel offered a brief smile, intertwining her fingers with his locks, a gentle graze ‘pon his flesh, seemed so ephemeral. a gaze filled with adoration, a love that spilled forth to occupy the very space betwixt them. ❝ you are the FUTURE of eos. please, don’t ever forget that. ❞

               A discomfiting thing, inadequacy’s strident glare is exceedingly conspicuous in the presence of beneficence personified. With seraphic features and a disarming congeniality, she’s an incandescent light illumining the more tenebrous regions of this parlous world.

Whence did they separate? Blood that once connect’d through a bond even stronger than that of abstract social constructs. Whence did she look ‘pon him with pain coursing down her veins, with tears a somber reminder of the jarring wounds he’d inflicted? (SINNER! lunafreya, entice them under your spell, seduce them in your complacency!) the ghost of what once was travels in his shoulders, a terrifying reminder of the change he’d sustained. a boy whose rare smile was privy only to her eyes. a man whose roar was punctured by sobs as he’d punish her trepidation, her unwillingness to concede ---- 

she knows he’s hurting. so she endures. day by day. night by night. she endures.

❝ the things you do for love indeed…❞ a dry, bitter taste, the most intoxicating whiskey. a downcast gaze (so he wouldn’t see how he hurts her so) ❝ if forgiveness is what you seek, you will not find it here. ❞
