In honour of the Pride parade in London today - that officially close the Pride month - here’s 3 pieces inspired by The Kiss, by Klimt. I obviously made them with something very specific in mind but feel free to interpret them however you want !

If you follow me on Instagram (@maru_dsgn) you know that this building is very much real and in London (there’s actually a Starbucks on the ground floor). My main source of inspiration is what I see in my everyday life, especially architecture (which I love! Don’t ask me why I didn’t study Architecture in Uni because I have no idea) and this tend to reflects on my work - be it good or bad, I have yet to decide. Anyway, I wasn’t sure about this drawing because without illustrator I can’t be precise in my work, which tend to annoys me infinitely, but in the end I decided to post it because why not. Bree & Min | Minimalist character posters

These were my first posters, my first real serious attempt with illustrator, and I know I can do way better now, so, what if I remake/polish them? I still want to finish the posters for the other characters because I liked the books soooo much!
Does anyone have any suggestion? Like should I keep this style or try a different one? And what about other characters? Should I actually add someone else or the main ones (Min, Bree, Sarah, Emma, Henry) are fine?
Time lapse for the last illustration posted here. I’m more comfortable now with procreate so I feel like I can experiment more. Let me know what you think of this !

Character design exploration for this drawing inspired by this amazing game called Detroit: Become Human. This took longer that I expected- mostly because working full time sucks- but I’m happy it’s finally finished!
Modified,updated and re-uploaded. I should probably do the remaining characters as well.
