It's TIME to STIM
Cats practice sketching Saw Cats 2019 again, amazing how it manages to make the worst narrative and visual decisions over and over again. Made me yearn to watch the original againScratchy pencil style drawing of Demeter, a cat from the stage musical Cats
I've been playing the original ff7 for the first time and I got to the bit where Sephiroth made an illusion of Tifa for a bit and I couldn't help but imagine him doing Tifa's little pose at the end of that scene and had to do a little sketch
Many such cases
Just Gulls being Pals
Gender? I 'ardly know 'er
Old drawing that I still like. I just think telegraph poles are neat, and where I live there are flocks of jackdaws who love to perch on them
OH also you can buy the design here if you wannnnt https://www.redbubble.com/shop/ap/175591352

Gonna be selling these at a craft fair at the Brighton Unitarian Church tomorrow, come say hi!
Here they are printed out with some bonuses! The Sean Connery one is a silly shitpost I made inspired by Kill James Bond
Some Pleakley fanart after watching the original Lilo & Stitch
God I hate everything I hear about the remake
Oh! A bug!
But...I'm jester square
Going by the tags, apparently there's some confusion about the gender of these two. When I drew them I was imagining them both as women but honestly? They're both pretty androgynous and gender is a fuck so they can be whatever gender you want them to be, they're just not straight or cis
Been looking through some WIPs from the past and decided to try and actually finish them. This one's from 2021 and is called "Frog texting his boyfriend." I really like how the lighting turned out in this one, and I'm especially pleased with the background as I often struggle with them. It feels very atmospheric and doesn't take the focus away from the subject
"What if Tim Burton Wasn't a Coward"
A bit of fanart/a dig at Tim Burton, because honestly if you're gonna have a corpse bride then you really ought to go whole hog. Not a particularly good film but visually it's neat Think I need to practise drawing snow impressions and dress folds in the future, but I like it for what it is
Some progress pics
(Btw if you're interested in my thoughts on this film and how it could make an interesting queer narrative with some edits, I talk about it with my girlfriend on our podcast Queer Up on this episode: https://shows.acast.com/queer-up/episodes/episode-4-corpse-bride )
