A psa to my youngest followers:
- An older adult solely hanging with younger teens (I’m talking 25yo & 15yo) and who doesn’t seem to have any other adult friend is a red flag.
- An older adult talking to a younger teen and saying stuff like “you’re the only one who understands me” “I’d hurt myself if you weren’t there” “You’re my only friend” is a red flag.
- Someone (regardless of age) who constantly ends up in discourse & drama is a red flag.
- If you’re afraid to talk to your friend(s), if you feel like you’ve got to tiptoe as to not set them off and get yelled at/ostracized/worse, that’s a red flag.

Tell you what would be nice... Giving a lee a hug with them resting their head on my shoulder. I'd lightly tickle down their sides and up into their armpits, their squirming making them lean into me. If they try to bring their arms down, they pull themselves further in. They get flustered obviously, so they try to hide their face, burying it into my shoulder and giggling, perfect for allowing me to whisper praise and teases right into their ear as I tickle their pretty squirmy ribs, trapping them into my tickly cuddles for as long as they'd like 😘

Safewording
I post a lot about all the lovely, sweet things that come with tickles. But, of course, things can always happen which are accidents or beyond a ler or lee's control. Here's how I'd deal with a safeword or someone stopping a session before it's started.
"I'm not feeling it anymore." // *safewords*
Stop.
Reassure them.
Ask what they need.
Do something else with them.
After things have calmed, ask
Here's a guideline.
Immediately:
Okay, darling. It's okay. Are you alright? I've got you, I'm here.
Once they've calmed, if applicable:
Would you like some space or some cuddles? Whatever you need, darling.
Once they've regulated and relaxed:
Okay, should we make some snacks and watch that show you love instead? We can just cuddle and watch TV.
After some time (at least 30 minutes in most cases):
Do you wanna talk about what happened, darling? You can always tell me if something felt scary or bad or wrong. It'll help me to keep everything safe in the future. If you just weren't feeling it, that's more than okay too! Its only ever fun for me if it's fun for you too. You're not feeling it, we don't do it, always. My job is to make you feel safe and cared about. You are more important than tickles ever will be. I've got you.
Any kind of play should always feel safe, fun and enjoyable for both parties. No matter how relaxed or intense sessions get, safety and comfort should be everyone's number one priority. If it isn't... well, you need to look at your values.
You aren’t weird for liking tickling. You aren’t gross or perverted.
Many confuse this love for a sexual one; that isn’t the case.
At least, not for all of us.
For some of us, it’s about feeling closer to a loved one.
It’s about really letting go and embracing vulnerability for once.

Rate the spot
As a ler, I often hear lees who are insecure about unconventional tickle spots, lees who may be worried that their ler's favourite spot isn't "ticklish enough". And I'm here to put those worries to bed.
Every spot is beautiful, every spot is worthy of attention and every spot is adorable. Lees, any pretty tickle spot that makes you squirm, squeak, giggle, blush, squeal, beg, or melt is gonna get some tickly attention paid to it! Your favourite/most ticklish spot to have tickled is my favourite spot to tickle, because why wouldn't I want you to have the best time giggling under my fingers?
Of course, some lers will have a special thing for certain tickle spots. That's totally normal. But it doesn't mean a lee isn't worth tickling if they're not so tickly there! If you are willing to let me get my hands on you, we're gonna have a lovely, giggly, tickly time no matter what. And you're gonna be praised and playfully teased and reassured and made to feel so adorable and so safe throughout, that is a promise!
Its so sad when lees think they aren't enough. "I'm not a very loud laugher" or "I'm not very squirmy" are usually said with shame and apologies. "I don't like my laugh" or "I don't like my smile" Are so common to hear. If you're trusting me enough to hand over control, trusting me with your body, none of that matters. All that matters is that you're having fun, and I'm gonna make damn sure that you feel good about yourself while doing it.
Being a ler and being in control is, to me at least, an honour. Being trusted by someone in such a vulnerable state is something that should never be taken for granted, and, as a ler, it should be our job to make sure the lee's session is as fun and enjoyable as possible! It's our job to make their fantasies happen and make them feel safe and comfy while we do so. So lees, don't overthink. Let us take care of you, let us turn those brains off so the only thing you can focus on are those tickles. Show us your pretty reactions, stop stressing and be good and take your tickles for us 😉😘💕

Okay, I have some kind of a theory... Let's talk about horror movies for a minute, particularly the filming of said horror movies.
Horror movies as we know, often have very little to no tickle scenes. And usually when characters in horror movies are running, the audience perceives they are truly in fictional danger. But the actors and actresses aren't actually going to be hurt or k*lled, they're just acting of course. It's all Hollywood acting, make up, etc. Just imagine for a minute how much tickling happens behind the scenes of these films, potentially.
The main characters are usually running away from some other dangerous person or monster. Imagine how easy it could be to run if the idea of being tickled by the threat was an off screen motivator. After all they have to make the fear and running seem believable. And who, community or not wouldn't run at the threat of being tickled?
Imagine the cast and crew finding out someone is ticklish during scenes where one or more of the characters has to be tied up or restrained. How many takes would be necessary from off screen shenanigans from someone getting tickled by their costar to require the scene being shot multiple times? And can we get a blooper reel?
Or the make up artist/crew finding unconventional tickle spots on the actors. Especially on GSW's or st*b wounds special effects usually located on the chest, ribs, stomach. I mean, part of me feels like that has to tickle, to some degree.
I feel like the idea of horror movies are to scare audiences, but it's so fun to imagine things behind the scenes involving tickling, it makes the movies seem less scary and I feel like would make the process seem less intimidating for the actors/actresses.

i think that's why there's so many horror fans in the tickle community. it's that juxtaposition between fear and laughter that tickling always arouses!

So I work at a place where people are in front of cameras a lot. During one of our breaks, one of the people wasn't smiling and the Executive Producer told some of the crew they should tickle him to make him smile before he needed to be on camera again. It took everything in me to keep my composure, but thankfully the room I was in with the EP was dark 😳

For context: this came out in 2011 in Australia. Same-sex marriage would not be legalized until December 2017.
It was only legalized in 8 US states (the 8th only a few months before), and wouldn’t be legalized nation-wide until 2015.
It was only legal in TEN COUNTRIES in 2011. We wouldn’t hit 20 countries until 2017. (Australia was 23rd)
As of today (April 14, 2026), I believe only 38 countries have fully legalized same-sex marriage. Out of somewhere around 200 countries in the world. That’s only ~19% of countries.
This is still revolutionary.
