I’ve always loved this episode, which feels shippy to the point where I wonder how non-Sam/Janet shippers watch it. The fact Janet smiles while she’s still looking at Sam, then shifts her eyes to Cassandra, brings Sam into the family. Not to mention the episode began with an intimate birthday party with literally ONE guest - Sam. 

Anyway, also that trope of someone watching their love interest and smiling without the other person being aware of it.
