Here's a painting I did of fish, which reminds me of how the furthest fronds of the jacaranda tree look like fish spines during winter, which then made me wonder about Einstein saying we shouldn't judge a fish based on its ability to climb a tree, because I am absolutely positive that fish live on the apices of the jacaranda outside my house, and they all chose to die unremarkably one night, and left their skeletons on my deck just to fuck with Einstein.
