I grew up so used to cigarettes that I never knew cigarettes had a distinct smell that's supposedly really strong. To this day I couldn't tell you if someone has been smoking around me unless I see them actually do it but somehow people can tell by the smell. That's how much I became used to smoking

There was also this one time that a friend visited me in high-school and we were talking outside my house, they pointed at my dad inside the house sitting in the living room watching TV and smoking "so, your dad just smokes inside?" The question puzzled me, I just went "yeah?" And kept thinking about it "where else would he smoke?" I thought

I dont drink, I dont do drugs (anymore) I dont even smoke, and the reason is not cause I grew up around people who did all these things regularly and in front of me always, its actually a mix between "I know that if I start I wont be able to stop" and "I cant even start cause I am too poor to buy the shit"
