One of the best parts abt figuring out u have adhd is i can let go of the i could be a genius if i unlocked my mind thing that everyone else wants to force on you and you have to adopt bc the alternative is ur just tupid. I like being tupid and dull in a normal way and tryifn to do everything i do out of practiced work even when it's bad and being ok wigb never being good at stuff especially not being instantly good at stuff and continuing to try at it (the worst and im still not great at this) instead of some crazy adrenaline hopped brain signalling
