"Well, it's a pleasure to meet you, Delia." He said, smiling. "I'm Mason. I don't play an instrument but I do know when to appreciate it."
Mason's hand was wrapped around Coco, petting him pretty much every step. He had missed this cute little dog. It was easy for him to just let go when you had a cute pup in his hands. It just seemed like he was back home. He also kept a mental note as to where they were going. He had let her slip through his fingers once, and he wasn't gonna let it happen again. He was going to make sure he kept an eye on Ari and to make sure she doesn't leave without saying goodbye, or maybe doesn't leave at all. He never knew with her. It was Mason who left without really saying goodbye. "They must have a lot of money if they're having a wedding in Vegas. What are you planning on doing?" He asked, looking over at her. "Is Elvis going to be there?" Usually Vegas was known for those who got wasted and did things that wouldn't do without the use of drugs or alcohol. "Your mother is great. I'm glad she's doing well." He said, before glancing over once more, and asking a more serious question. "How are you?" He asked, his eyes sparkling.
"What are you going to school for?" Mason asked, his head tilting to the side a bit. "Oh it's alright. Just a pilot that fell through. I've got other jobs."
His head perked up. "I can?" He asked, with a slight of confusion in his voice. He's never asked before because he was sure he wasn't allowed to. "Okay, so quite a lot of pictures." He chuckled softly.
Mason laughed. "He's alright." Chris Evans wasn't his type but he understood. "I've gotten mixed reviews. Normally I don't look at the bad ones, or any of them to be honest."
.
"Therefore you need to get back as soon as possible." He said, lifting his head to look at her. "This is why we are so good together." Mason said in the middle of a yawn. "Mkay." He mumbled, "Yeah, I need to eat food. How many shoots have you done so far?"
"Yes, I'm pretty sure." He said, "it's a huge franchise." Mason smiled, "I'm okay with not being hugely famous. I don't know if I'd be able to handle having such a huge fanbase."
"Right now I do." He mumbled against her. "But if they ask politely, I will let you go." He said, humming softly. "I love my fans, if they go out of their way to get to me, I'll definitely go out of my way for them." He said, before biting his lip. "You're ready for bed. Scratch that, I'm ready for bed." He claimed, unhooking her from his grasp.
"Yeah, I am grateful for the opportunities I've had. And it's not like I'm a big as Ryan Gosling, or Chris Evans. I don't know how they do it."
He waited for her answer, and just watched her curiously. She really hadn't changed that much. He smiled softly, and gladly took Coco into his arms. The small dog licked him in the face and he couldn't help but laugh. He felt like he was back at home, but maybe home was just where Ariadne was. She seemed happy, but he wasn't sure if she was happy to see him. He usually knew things like that. But because he hasn't seen her in a while, it would take some time getting used to seeing her around. Not that he didn't want to, because he definitely did want her around. "What kind of client? Would I know said client?" He asked, petting Coco. "Home is nice. How's your mom?" He asked, tilting his head to the side a bit.
"It wasn't bad at all. I think for the most part, I wanted to do it, so I pushed my mother to let me audition. She didn't actually want me to, but she let me."
He intertwined his fingers behind her back, and pulled her closer. "When they call you, I'll let you go." He said, his head on her stomach. He then picked up his head and looked up at her. "A fan probably saw me, along with a couple other people. I signed some things." He grinned. "So they definitely saw me. That's the beauty of fame." He traced tiny circles on the small of her back. "You just have one more photo shoot?"
"I think just the fact I can be somebody else makes me like it. I've also been doing it since I was young. Commercials and things."
"Job. But it fell through. What about you?" Mason asked, the words rolling off of his tongue.
Mason nodded as he walked, then he looked over at the girl carrying both of the dogs. "Do you want me to carry one of them?" He asked, it was unusual for him to let her carry them both, normally he would either carry one or both of them. She seemed stressed out, and he figured he was partially a reason for that stress. "So how long are you staying here for?" He asked. Not meaning for it to seem like a question as if he's asking long term. He just wanted to make conversation, and he wanted to see how much time he could spend with his friend. "Yeah, that makes sense." He watched her for a second. "But you like your temporary apartment?" Mason blurted out, putting more emphasis on the word 'temporary' than he wanted to.
He held up his hands in defense, "Hey I didn't do anything of the sort, but come here so I can ruin in a little more." He said, reaching out to grab her by the waist so she was in between his legs. "I don't think they did. But I'm sure they'll catch us leaving."
