"I like messing with you. Out of control, but it feels good… and this is why I’m getting drunk, I’m for once celebrating instead of brooding. And you will celebrate too."
"Are you forcing me to be happy."
"Spending time with you acquires alcohol. How else do you expect me to tolerate you for more than a few hours?"
"You're such an asshole."
"The one you love, my ass. Buy me a drink first and maybe I’ll believe you."
"You said you wanted to kill a vampire, not force me to buy you a drink."
"You and your grumpiness that never allowed us to have a normal conversation before."
"Hey now, that's just cruel and you know it. So hows the powers going?"
"Well it has to do with the things it’s made out of. I don’t know all the specifics but I’ve heard the customers who come into Solstice talking about it before. But who knows, healthy stuff might be bad for you."
"Everything is bad for you."
Training SARA & MASON
Sara was an early riser. She was most definitely what one would call a morning person. So despite her pacifist ways and her apprehension about learning to hurt people, she got ready for the day with a smile on her face. She didn’t really know what people wore to learn how to fight people, so she settled for her usual gym outfit, got a healthy breakfast, and was out the door.
She knew the way to Mason’s by heart. She knew the way to all of the pack’s houses and apartments by heart, even if she didn’t visit frequently. She made sure she’d be able to get to them if they ever needed her.
When she got there, she rang the bell and waited patiently. She might have been able to just walk in, but she thought that was too rude. She always waited to be let in. As she waited though, her nerves started to get to her. What if she was no good? What if she couldn’t do it when she actually had to go up against someone? Could she do this? Sure she needed to learn to fight, but…still…
Waiting around was never one of his strong points, if you told Mason to wait and left him with only himself he would struggle greatly. Often he would twiddle his fingers and thumbs or would shake his legs up and down. It was something that many of his pack members noticed, but as of late it seemed to be under control.
So waiting for Sara involved doing more push ups and crunches along with skipping. Yes, that's right Skipping. It was useful for boxing, it was the first thing he learnt how to do properly and after that mastering it became more than a chore, but instead an enjoyment.
The knock at the door brought Mason out of his trance, he walked to the door and welcomed his pack mate and friend with a warm smile. "Come on in." He gestured to his apartment, it wasn't messy it just looked bare and empty. He knew Sara was nervous, he could see in her eyes.
"Come on, it's going to be fun do not worry"
He showed her around the apartment, offering her something to drink before they started. "So today I'll just start of slow, see where you are. Where we need to go, first we need to stretch and get ready for this well workout." Finally after that, he grabs the boxing hand mats out, so that he can see what he needs to do to help. "Just hit it, anyway you can."
"Would you rather I speak more harshly?"
"Oh Evelyn, that's how you always speak."
"That’s because you never saw the fun side of me."
"Well who is too blame for that?"
Training SARA & MASON
Mason wasn't sure where he had to start, maybe clearing out the objects that were in the room would be the best option. Considering, how little he owned it didn't mean it would take a long time. Just moving around the tables and chairs already started working up a small sweat, but it didn't bother him.
Sleeping was never really apart of his system, if at all. Mason preferred the early mornings, watching the sun rise and laying in bed was just not the way he liked to start his day. So when he suggested helping Sara he could only picture her turning up in the morning, ready to start the day with a fresh new perspective.
He waited for her, he was stretching his body warming up his muscles. While also doing press ups and body crunches to get his body ready, he may be a werewolf but he was still set in his ways.
"What? I’m not allowed to like whistling? It’s fun!"
"And very annoying, but somehow you don't make it."
"And you wouldn’t have it any other way."
No my life would be very boring without it.
"Why would it be a mistake, Mason?"
"You really asking that question?"
"I have my ways with men. You should know it by now."
"Oh do you now? I never would of guessed"
Dishonesty is unbecoming on you, Mason Darling.
"Darling? Oh Evelyn is there something you want?"
"What, is it that time of the month for you again Mase?”
"You're such a little shit."
Cheyenne laughed lightly and nodded. “Yes, it is. And it is supposed to be good for you. We don’t have to be here much longer. Then I’ll buy you a drink.”
"Good for you? how is that even possible?"
"You know, you’re as bad as Conor. Maybe you two should get married and then you can team up on me."
"What the fuck is wrong with you?"
