Yeah there’s this really old art meme on DeviantArt that I used to make this, lol.

The realism looks…uncanny valley, Thermal Light usually has a rounder head shape but, mine’s a square, lol.

Old 20 Art Styles/Inspiration Challenge

Some more old art of mine. This time it was a 20 art style challenge with the first 19 being inspirations for my art style or just media that really motivated me to create due to each of their own unique aspects. While some artists are no longer with us (RIP Mia Ikumi) or have simply stepped away from the internet for their own reasons (Jambeebot, I know you may never see this, but I hope you're living your best life right now), they were still big parts of my life and their works continue to inspire me to this day.

Some of these came out better than others with the sketches translating the works much better, but it's still a lot of fun to look back on these old pieces to see how far I've come. I may even come back to and redraw these in the future with a few new additions to my art inspirations.

'26.2.8 宝山寺奥の院にて

雪降る朝。写真展の搬入があるのでいつもの奈良公園には行かずに近所の古刹へ。本堂を越えて奥の院に着くと、時折強風が吹いてぶわっと雪が打ち付けるように降ります。

寺猫さんも寒そうに「にゃあ～」と鳴いてややしかめっ面･･それでも近くでじっとしていると寄ってきて僕の足元をスリスリ。「寒いやんなぁ⛄」などと撫でつつ久しぶりの雪中撮影。

･･ということで、2/10から合同写真展です（PR😉）もう数回お知らせしましたが、しつこく告知😆

without Pokegirls, where's mons series(outside Digimon and Pokemon) that's strictly uses "only mons that can do cool stuff" trope?

as "only mons that does cool stuff" trope are apparently abandoned by even most of Mons series(including Digimon and Pokemon, when former were canonically other than Adventure sequels and(maybe) reboots, and latter aren't anime series that shoehorned Ash and Team Rocket trio whilst replacing everyone else constantly), not only the trope can make viewers feeling useless and inferior.

so that's why mons series that aren't adventure sequels of Digimon and Pokemon anime that shoehorns Ash and Team Rocket trio are more willing to give any of mons trainers superpowers(even within acceptable limits: Yugioh gone with Green Lantern routes when giving humans superpowers and Digimon usually gone with humans becoming digimon when giving human characters actual superpowers)
