Industry Tip: Summer Internship with the National Park Service and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service
Many students feel the pressure to find paid internships and sometimes feel it is near impossible to secure one. The Student Conservation Association is providing students with more options this summer at top environmental organizations such as the National Park Service and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
Internship concentrations include education, historical preservation, resource management, visitor service, and many others.
US citizens or permanent residents
Undergraduate or graduate students during the 2016-2017 academic year who self-identify as being from diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds
Available for a 12-week summer internship
Open-minded, with an adventurous spirit
Not necessarily experienced in conservation, but eager to learn more - all majors are welcome

Students participating in either of these programs will have their SCA application fee waived. Candidates are encouraged to apply by February 1st, but applications will continue to be reviewed until all positions have been filled.
