𓍯 ִֶָ she can taste the tiniest drop of blood inside her mouth, faint and licked with the brush of her tongue. it healed almost as soon as it came, and she opens her eyes when he pulls back, a smile growing coy and wide in her lips. something foreign almost took over her brain just then, still vaguely dazed with slightly darkened eyes. “it’s alright.” she replies, low and sweet. “i enjoyed it.” another pause, a question pooling in her tongue, “was that your first kiss ?”

He let go of her hands, allowing Ariel to move if she so wished. There was something in her eyes, something that made him want to kiss her again... and more. He couldn't understand where that urge was coming from but didn't seem like something he wanted to fight against. There was a fine line there, between embarassment and anger and the question made it just slightly towards the angry side.

— Of course not!

That was a lie, of course. Kissing wasn't something he had done people. He was, after all, a monster. What person in their sane mind would want to kiss him?

𓍯 ִֶָ she lies there quietly, breathing out the perfumed pheromones she hadn't realized were spilling out of her. vibrant-red curls sprawled around her, thinking that the silence isn't uncomfortable and if he didn't want to reply she would settle for the way his eyes seemed to watch her, wondering what sort of thoughts raced his mind in that moment. but as he leaned in and pressed his lips against her, she couldn't help but keep her eyes open for a second to memorize the way he looked when he wasn't shouting at her or losing his temper and was just being ... gentle. it almost made her smile, her heartbeat quickening as she closed her eyes and kissed him back.

Adam didn't expect her to kiss him back, if anything he was half expecting the mermaid to push him away. Or try to at least, since she wasn't strong enough to move him in that form. Not without catching him by surprise. He broke the kiss, staring at her as he breathed heavily. He was worried that might have hurt her with a fang, but apparently she was fine, but he didn't know what to do from there.

— I'm... sorry. I shouldn't have done that.

𓍯 ִֶָ she lands with a soft gasp, the mattress bouncing beneath her as her eyes adjust to the creature now hovering over her. yes, this is what she had expected; he's much larger, stronger, generally more powerful so having been able to pin him down even just a few seconds had been interesting to say the least. but now she's lying under him, not moving ── in part because her hand is trapped, but this isn't as scary as one might've thought so ariel felt no need to try and escape.

siren-glazed eyes search his at the remark he offers, amusement lingering in her throat as though that's meant to frighten a mermaid away. ".. what would happen if you weren't ?"

There were many things going through his mind in that moment. Many answers he could give. If he wanted to fright her, Adam could say that he could shred her to pieces right there and then, turn her into minced meat with his claws and his fangs. But that was not that he wanted... not really. He couldn't right understand that feeling, it was.... new. Unfamiliar yet not really unwelcome. Was it her doing or was something he could have had before?

He didn't think much, to answer her question the Beast only moved closer and kissed her. He was careful as to not accidentaly hurt her with his fangs of course.

𓍯 ִֶָ he had seemed so distracted in the moment it had her pouting and craving attention. admittedly, ariel also wondered how difficult ( or easy ) it'd be to push him down when he's distracted, to pin him down and hover above him and his giant build and test the boundaries of his short-temper. and maybe in that short moment, her perfume is sea salt and lure woven into a taste of wicked curiosity in her eyes as she stares down at him, a smile curling into her lips.

".... aren't you going to push me off ?" she taunts noting his tail, voice honey and low, pinning both his arms above his head as though the disparity in their strength were nothing more than decoration.

He should have pushed her off him. The truth was that she had caught him by surprise to a degree that he didn't know how to act, like whenever a harness were to be put on a cat and they stopped working. Still, he needed to move. There was a scent in the air, a strange thing that reminded him of the sea and of salt, but he needed to act like the Master of that Castle.

With a growl, Adam moved but he didn't just push Ariel away from him no no, he did something different. The beastial creature flipped her, switching places so that he would be on top of her, one of her hands held in place by a massive paw.

— You are lucky I'm in a good mood today. — He threatned.

She could sense a lonely spirit in this man. ' I'll leave once I know it's safe, I am sorry for barging in.'
