Feeling like you can’t regress?
here are some things that help me feel smoll <3
coloring: If you have a dollar store near you, buy some coloring books, if not, you can always draw
TV: watch a comfort cartoon/movie, sometimes I watch movies or shows from my childhood and they help!
decorate: set up a little space corner in your room! mines has a canopy, cartoon mat, water mat for coloring, stuffies, and my toy chest!
journaling: use agere journal prompts! they’re really fun and easy to do
hygiene: take a warm bubble bath and bring some toys in the tub if you have any
dress up: I know sometimes when I’m a bit stuck out of LS, I take a nice warm shower with lots and lots of soap and bubbles, and then I play dress up!
snack time: eat your favorite snackie! this is another thing I do, personally I like choosing things from my childhood like PB&J or Dino nuggies! Or if you live near a supermarket or dollar store (with a food isle) you can get a lunchables or kid cuisine!
let’s make a mess: get messy! this always puts me in a playful mood, you can finger paint or play with slime!
music: listen to music! I like listening to fresh beat band, or jacks big music show!
party time: Have a party with your stuffies, it could be a fun dance party, or an elegant tea party!
crafting: If you have a paci, decorate it! If not, make bracelets!!
games: play video games, or use apps on your phone, I like ones that are really interactive
If I can think of more I will definitely add more but that’s it for now!!
