His name is Gabriele, he’s a healthy six pounds, nine ounces with a head full of hair. It’ll be curly, I’m sure of it, and he’s already proven that he’s going to be quite the personality because he does not stop babbling and telling stories. 

About a year and a half ago. It hasn’t been easy but we’ve put some real work into it.

So adorable. Honestly every time I see my friends babies I steal them for a little just so I can have cuddles. I love it when babies just talk and talk but they’re not making any sense at all.

I suppose the arrival of my nephew/godson int he recent weeks is of interest! I have been trying not to gush too much about him because I did not want to annoy anyone, but he’s absolutely perfect and I never want to stop spending time with him.

Absolutely. We went there for our Honeymoon so it’s a special place for us. 

Oh how lovely! No no. Talk about babies as much as you want.

A much needed and well-deserved vacation, I assume? Bali sounds like it would be incredible, I cannot wait to hear about it. Was this a spontaneous decision?

My “everything” is not as interesting as yours, I can say that for certain! I’ve been bust preparing student reports, so nothing very fun.

Much needed. We’re back now but it was amazing. It was kinda planned but very last minute planned.

That can’t be everything that’s been going on surely.

Well, Sundays, but that is also Sunday dinner day. You can always bring pups then, too. However, my free days vary depending on my clinical rotation schedule at the hospital. I think your best bet is going to be shooting me a text with whatever days might work best for you. However, this coming week, Monday, and Wednesday are likely to be my best days from 1pm on.

I could do Monday! I would have to ask Morgan what his availability is but if not then you’ll have to deal with just getting one half of our duo.

Okay that I get but how did you come to the conclusion Morgan was dead.

Morgan pulled away as Mateo spoke. “Oh my god, do you have to gloat?” He shook his head as he reached down for Mateo’s hand. “As if you don’t know.” Morgan slowly pulled Mateo towards the bedroom door. The fact of the matter was Morgan needed this. He wanted to celebrate that they were going, but also prevent his mind from racing any further. 

“No, I just like revelling in the moment.” Mateo smiled and squeezed Mogan’s hand as he was pulled along. He couldn’t keep his joy from showing on his face as his husband pulled him through the door of the bedroom. They were finally making significant advances in fixing their relationship.

Morgan’s eyebrows raised but he was quickly calmed by Mateo’s hands. He sighed, feeling some of the tension leave his body with the kiss. “I forgot the Lattice existed.” He whispered, blue eyes still troubled. “Please make sure to do all of that first thing in the morning…. I want this.. to be perfect.” He admitted, desperately wanting for this to help them get back to where they once were. 

“First thing in the morning?” He smiled as he realised something. They could have done all that planning now. He could have called work and called him mum. “What exactly are we doing instead of planning if it’s taking up all out time till tomorrow morning?”

OOOOOOOH ~ I love this, I love that you’re in Bali being all cute. I’m jealous, you’re winning.

How long are you guys there for? I’m good, though! Better than I have been.

Couple of weeks. We needed some quality time together. Bali is where we honeymooned so it’s nice to come back.

Morgan reached out, grabbing Mateo’s forearms, pulling him in close. “Thank you” He said before pressing a kiss to his lips. They needed this and they both knew it. “Okay.. I am going to um… call really quick.. and make sure we can book this… maybe you should call work?” He checked his phone “Or is it too late?” He ran his hand over his jaw. “We need to get the airplane tickets like.. right now… and then you need to call your mom.. I need to call Krista let her know I will be out… OH! You have to call your bank let them know you are traveling.. is your passport current?” He didn’t even realize the speed of his rambling. There was a nervous energy overwhelming him. 

“Hey, woah. Calm down. We don’t need plane tickets. We’ll get the lattice to Indonesia and then we can get a boat to Bali. It’ll be far cheaper and will take a fraction of the time.” Mateo chuckled, cupping Morgan’s face and leaning up to kiss him. “I’ll call work, let them know I’m taking some personal time. Then I’ll call my mum and ask her to take the dogs. She’ll just be happy that we’re spending some time together so she’ll be happy to take them.”

if you haven’t heard from Morgan or I for  little while it’s because we dropped everything and went on holiday. Hello from Bali! We’ll be back soon but till then be jealous. How is everything with you lot?

I’ve been terribly busy, and I do apologize. I’m trying to get all of my research done so I can finish this paper and make an attempt at submitting it to be published. Then, of course my last year of med school, and working at the hospital, I’ve been stretching myself nice and thin. That being said, I’ve come up for air. I need to get out of my house, and do something, and see people that aren’t fellow classmates, or anyone that I work with at the hospital. I’m basically begging anyone for a lunch date, dinner date, movie date, shopping date, surfing date… really anything… please? In the mean time, how is everyone doing? Any news? The holidays are coming up soon, Halloween first, anyone have plans?

Dog date? I might be able to convince Morgan to let me steal the pups for an afternoon.
