Honestly, I don’t think of the Jinpei in the Wild Police Story as the actual Jinpei. I have so many qualms about DetCo but this is the main one I think. He seems to be so impulsive, his hair when he’s the grown up and experienced Jinpei is different.

He’s younger, I know. But the Jinpei that I love is the one in episode 304. The original. When he first showed up. Now all this meaningless romance exploration with Chihaya who I don’t even know and I just chalk it up to Gosho milking Jinpei, its not him man. And I don’t wanna say it bugs me that Gosho milks him for romance that don’t amount to anything. But it does. And I don’t get why he have to be part of Furuya’s gang anyway.

I wish the cast weren’t so tight knit a family. They all don’t have to be connected to one another. Especially this now…Jinpei can just be his own character and I think he can still stand on his own. It be much cooler. His first appearance was received so well by fans he still resonate with us to this day. He’s good enough already and I know the fans wanna see more of him, but I just don’t like the way Gosho’s handling it.

The milking hurt me. Jinpei shouldn’t be treated like that.
