More of a daydreamer than a writer, but here's my ao3. If you've read my fics and want to talk about them or ask questions, please do! Send me an ask, or comment on the fics, both options are highly appreciated.

I jump between fandoms a lot. Here are the past ones I can think of:
Detective Conan/Magic Kaito
Danganronpa
Ace Attorney (up until Apollo Justice)
Halo (Bungie era)
Red vs Blue
MCYT (Hermitcraft, Dream SMP, TiredTWT)
Tankmen (Newgrounds)
Stardew Valley (vanilla)
Utaite (After the Rain)
Inazuma Eleven (currently going through the OG)
I return to my home fandom, DCMK, every few years. I've been here since I was a kid. There's no escape.
Personal tags:
#schleeptalk for my personal ramblings
#my post for posts that are mine
#askschleep for me answering asks
#dcmk critical for posts that criticize official DCMK material, some are reblogs, some are OC
#kaishincest for posts that explicitly depict kaishin as an incest ship
other tags to be added later
Kaishin is my OTP, but I'm also kind of a multishipper. Other DCMK ships I enjoy include coai, heishin, sonoran, and ranao. I strongly dislike most canon DCMK pairings, and I may bitch about them sometimes, but those posts will be tagged with #dcmk critical.
I mostly tag my posts/reblogs with umbrella ship titles (i.e. shinkai/kaico/spadeKID/etc. are all tagged "kaishin"), this is just how I organize my blog, it doesn't mean I think there's only one true dynamic to a ship.
"You ship kaishin? What about the reveal in movie 27?" Here's what I think.
Asks and DMs are always welcome, but please be considerate. Asks about past fandoms welcome.
(doing this halfheartedly cuz i do not have the patience to check every detco character that ever existed while taking account of artstyle evolution)
Maybe this is something which is very obvious but i JUST realize Shinichi is the only GUY with the triangle itty bitty button nose. In detco this nose design tends to be given to other main girls. (if im wrong please lmk I'm doing this very with minimum scrutiny)
What am I trying to get at? Well maybe.... Shinichi has a baby face? Or maybe even a feminine face? (that might also explain why Kaito have an easy time crossdressing)
this is actually one of my favorite details in the murderer kudo shinichi case!! you can TELL makoto isn't shinichi because there noses are different
it's almost just subtle enough that the first time through you can tell something is off but can't quite place it
his nose is just slightly too long, and it makes it feel wrong. and it makes perfect sense because it would be difficult to change the shape of it with surgery.
in this side by side you can really tell the difference
idk it's just like,, the small details like this that I love about this series
You're on a path in the woods, and at the end of that path is a cabin. And in the basement of that cabin is a Princess.
You're here to slay her. If you don't, it will be the end of the world.
For the @yuriolympics Mini Round 3: Alternate Universes
Big Ramble Below~
I drew this with Ran/Shiho in mind but since I didn't draw Shiho, I might as well yap a bit to justify the ship tag lol (general spoilers for Slay the Princess below)
I think it'd be fun to put Shiho in place of the protagonist given how she's often juxtaposed to Ran in the series. (Also, given the crow-like appearance of the Long Quiet, I felt it made sense for Shiho to be put in the role of the protagonist) So what if she was placed in the world to kill this angel, or in this case, princess?
If I'm thinking about the Shiho who was stuck in the Black Org, I imagine she'd be colder, following orders to reach her end goal. In this scenario, she'd kill Ran to save the world, whatever that may entail. But of course, she'll meet Ran again.
Ran being the Princess on the surface makes sense. She's the character known for kindness and innocence. With Ran being the character that often gets rescued, it matches that typical damsel to be saved in fairy tales.
Though underneath that surface, her anger and sadness are repressed and buried under layer after layer. So with Ran taking the place of the Princess in the game, I think it's gratifying to think about her restrictions being shed with each version of herself. She'd be able to fully feel the rawness of her emotions, even if that hurts others.
With each iteration Shiho and Ran hurt each other, yet they find the distance between them shortening. In the end, they're both people stuck in the crossfires of destiny, which I find parallels their experience in canon with the Black Org's influence on their lives (unbeknownst to them or not). Ultimately, I like the idea of Shiho deciding to leave with Ran and breaking free of their cage (And? What Happens Next? ending). So that's what I drew here!
For the princesses featured in the background (from left to right): the Damsel, the Nightmare, the Prisoner, the Thorn, and the Tower.
So, I've been saying all week that I was looking forward to how the Detective Conan x Precure episode was going to handle putting a magical girl in a murder mystery genre, but I really wasn't expecting them to make a certain meme real.
I've always interpreted this scene as Kaito being aware that his choice to become KID was a mistake, and that he's clinging to a false idealized image of Toichi. He could have moved on and lived in ignorance, but instead he decided that his own life was less valuable than the life his father could have had.
I wonder how the author views Kaitou KID, because he has written numerous characters driven by vengeance, and most of them ultimately meet unfortunate fates.
Sometimes I think Kaito isn't an exception to the narrative. Just because he doesn't kill doesn't mean the characters in Gosho's universe would simply let him go, at least from what I've seen.
You know how Toichi became Kaitou KID to draw attention away from Phantom Lady so she could be free? What if Kaitou Corbeau is a recreation of that idea?
Very rough sketch concept for a small Kaito standee, with a red light hidden inside, revealing Pandora. The corners would be rounded and I’ll make changes still and refine. I need a potent light…
when I was reading the coloured comic version of this episode I always thought why did they make rei pose like that, and now I'm rewatching the episode and whenever I see it I just pause and think whether I should consider it as slay from rei or just weird
No offense but the boots just make it look like he's doing a spin in heels to akai and strutting off lol this scene always makes me laugh so hard
