Fire
The last thing I expected to be doing when returning from a great conference was standing in the road in the early hours watching a fire in one of our university buildings. Wednesday last week I was doing just that. From around 10pm to 1:30am I watched in dismay before realising that I may as well go home to bed and deal with the aftermath the next day.
