Raising her eyebrows, Lavinia has a mocking smile on her lips. “Wow, you already want to take me to your place. Do you think I’m that easy?” she joked. Lavinia didn’t care about her bad reputation, she just cared to enjoy life and do whatever she wanted. “You’re lucky that I’m bored and you’re cute, let’s go.”

“Hey now, I didn’t say you were easy.” He jokes back and grins, taking her hand and leading her back to his apartment complex, already by the elevators when he turns back to her, clicking the button, “So I’m a little eager, but lemme be a gentleman and ask how your day has been.”

“yeah, i’m pretty sure i’ll get my steps in just from the back and forth.” she laughed softly, a quiet shrug on her shoulders as she looked down at her feet for a moment before peering over at him. at his offer, she couldn’t hide the way her eyebrows rose on her forehead in surprise. “someone’s feeling gentlemanly. have nothing better to do?” she wondered curiously as they rounded a corner to the elevators. “or just feeling charitable?”

Matty chuckles at the idea of walking to the laundry room as a workout, but it’s true. “The campus itself is a workout.” He mutters, noticing the look of surprise on her face. “I’m not gonna pass up the opportunity to one, help out, and two, use it as an excuse to spend time with a beautiful girl.” The compliment comes off easily and he smiles, pressing the elevator button before leaning against the wall. “Is that okay with you?”

“Charming,” she deadpanned, though her lips did curl up. If there was one thing she knew, it was that Matty wasn’t the dating type–no clarification necessary. “Men. You’re all the same. Only after one thing.” As if she wasn’t after the same thing. Her voice was teasing, her smile turning coy as she traced her fingers down his shirt. “I’ll come. Provided you make it worth my while.” 

“Well miss I could change my tone, if I hadn’t know better.” Of course she had a reputation too, but not one he judged her for. In fact, it only intrigued him even more. “As long as you tell me what you want, I’ll make sure I give you the VIP service.” He says, looking down at her hand before smirking at her. “Anytime you want it too.”

Lavinia wouldn’t ask for it, it wasn’t really her style. She liked the fact that he was respectful, but preferred not to use her words to make him understand what she wanted. Fingers pacing his chest, the brunette looked into his eyes, a wicked smile on her lips. “What do you think I want?”

Matty licks his lips slowly, realizing she wouldn’t be the first one to give in. That, Mathias had no problem with. “Well, I’m thinking there’s only really one way to find out?” He nods towards the exit and smiles, “My place? That is, if you’re not already busy with anything.”

Teeth dug into her plump lip, the brunette laughed without knowing whether he was being serious or not. Lavinia liked to play, but didn’t like to be played. Either way, she would not miss the opportunity. Allowing him to get closer and then stepping forward, she licked her lip. “And will you show me?”

“Only if you want me to.” His voice has dropped down, low, only barely above a whisper. Matty was a flirt and he did sleep around, but he had mad respect for women. He wasn’t going to push himself onto her if she didn’t allow him.

       “for me?” she grins, posing jokingly. “ you must love me, to allow me to grace you with my presence.” tilting her head, she looks down at the brunette. “ hey what time is that thing on, by the way? i have something on during the day but i would rather die than not show up for your party.” 

Matty laughs, rolling his eyes playfully. “Security’s letting people in by 9. There’ll be food so you can come without having had dinner.” He shrugs, the same proud smile on his face. “But don’t worry, there’ll be enough for everyone.” And besides, most if not all the parties he’s hosted so far never really ended early so he’s used to even his closest friends coming at 10, the earliest.

“oh god, i’m not sure my broker can handle another claim.” she joked as she shifted the basket to her other hip. “i was actually taking it back to the laundry room because i realized halfway to my apartment that the shotty rinse cycle did a terrible job.” hayden chuckled and shrugged in defeat. had she expected anything else? “but, hey, i won’t turn down the extra muscle.” a smile crossed over her lips as she held the basket out to him.

Matty smiles at the back and forth banter, taking the laundry basket from her before proceeding to walk the direction she was walking. “That’s terrible. The walk is no joke.” He says with a soft chuckle, glancing at her. Thankfully, Matty had someone picking up his laundry and sending fresh sets of clothes from home to him. But he didn’t want to look like the privileged boy here. “Tell you what, I’ll help you carry these back to your apartment too, after you wash them.”

His expression conveyed nothing but trouble. But even that wasn’t enough to deter Beck from making a bad decision. “Alright, bottom’s up.” He tapped his cup against the other’s in solidarity. “You can hold my hair back when I throw up in two seconds.” Beck added wryly before taking a swig from it.

Mathias grins and downs the drink after they tap cups. He was already liking the other’s company, feeling like this is the kind of crowd Matty preferred. The drink is drained from the cup in a matter of seconds and he looks at Beck, eyebrows raised, “No puking now, it wasn’t even that bad!”

“Oh, so you don’t want to,” she teased, holding her hands up as she backed away. “Okay, Larsen. Okay. I see how it is.” Still, her lips quirked up in a smile, her eyes crinkling with amusement at the easy banter. “Might have to sit the party out to recover from this one.” 

Matty reaches up to ruffle her hair slightly, “I’d be honored, but you know I’d prefer hookups than a date.” Okay, he wasn’t always like that, but Matty was a needy boy, and with parties came the after party. “So no, don’t ditch the party. You have to come.”

her eyes moved into his direction as he spoke and she raised an eyebrow at the mention of the party nodding along. “i mean you didn’t seem to have any trouble bringing it up. so is it gonna actually be good or is it one of those preppy leave by one but everyone really leaves by nine because it happens to be shit parties? ya know, asking for a friend” 

“I think you don’t know who you’re talking to.” There’s amusement in his tone and he grins, hands clasped behind his back as he stands. If there was one thing Matty was most proud of, it wasn’t football or tennis or his grades, even though he excelled at those. It was his ability to host only the best of parties. “You should come to find out.”

“Well, I’ll be taking a date, but if you have something better to offer…” her eyes traveled over the boy, up and down, as she bit her lip. Lavinia was known for flirting around, she liked it, especially when people responded to her. And it was always a good idea to keep her options open just in case if the tinder date wasn’t that interesting in person. “I guess, we will.”

“Something better to offer.” He repeats, drawling out each word before he gazes straight into her eyes. Two can play that game. “Lemme know if your date sucks after the party and we’ll arrange something. But, if you’re curious about what I’ve got to offer, well...” He trails off, leaning closer, “You’ve only got one way to find out.”

She giggled, Mathias was an attractive guy and didn’t seem to have a problem with having girls fall at his feet, especially when he did the best parties around there. “Trust me, you will have the best hook up of your life. Even if I have to sleep with you myself,” she was obviously kidding, but again he was an attractive guy. 

“I might hold you to that joke, so be careful” Now the offer was even more amazing. Lavinia was hot, to make things simple. Matty wasn’t stupid to turn that down if the offer was real, even though he knew she was kidding. “We’ll just have to see now won’t we?”

“You’re right. I would only ever go on a date with someone who asked very nicely,” she quipped, the set of her eyebrows posing it as a challenge as she crossed her arms over her chest. “And what are you now, a business major? Finance? Planning to take that at advice all the way to the bank, I bet.” 

Mathias rolls his eyes playfully, “First of all, I’m very capable of asking nicely if I wanted to, and second, I am a business major. Besides, you asked.” That snark, the way she wouldn’t back down, he liked that. Matty was pretty defiant too so he appreciated that.

“Oh shit, sorry-” Hayden exhaled as she knocked the laundry basket perched precariously under one arm into the other person. She swore she had more room than that in the hallway. At least the items in the basket were clean. With her free hand, she plucked the airpod from her ear to assess the damage to the other person, not that the hit was that hard but she knew better than to just keep going. “You’re not going to call the cops are you?” She teased, biting her bottom lip to fight back a smile just in case the person she’d accidentally encroached on was in a less than stellar mood. “It was a run-by… laundry-ing.”

“Aw fuck.” He pauses, looking at the other. He was the one not looking where he was going, so he wasn’t gonna get mad or anything. Instead he smiles at her teasing, shrugging as part of his answer, “Well, we’ll have to assess the damage. If anything I think I’m gonna have to call insurance.” He teases back, more relaxed. “I can carry that for you if you want? Where are you headed?”

“okay i know this is going to sound…totally weird but i’m playing my very first game of truth or dare and i was just dared to kiss you. i know, i’m late to the game and i’m playing with a bunch of immature morons but…a dare’s a dare. you chill with it?”

Matty’s caught by surprise, but he smiles at her before realizing what she just said. “This is your first truth or dare?” Maybe not everyone was like that stereotypical college kid after all. “Yeah, no problem.” He says, unsure if he should just be waiting for her to make the move while he was completely amused.

Beck took the red plastic cup that was thrusted suddenly into his hands. He peered down into the mysterious concoction with wary regard. With a crooked smirk tugging on the corner of his lips and a raised eyebrow, he glanced up at them. “It’s against my better judgement to trust anything you give me but we both know I’ll drink it anyway. Should I even bother to ask what’s in it?”

There’s a devilish grin on Matty’s face, but the shrug he gives made him look like he’d do nothing wrong in the world. “Oh come on buddy, I’m not sending you straight to the toilet. It’s just the mix from the kitchen.” He points behind him then holds up his own cup. “I’ll even drink it with you to earn your trust.”
