I was really baked playing New Vegas and I had such a galaxy brain thought that I immediately dropped what I was doing and drew this. made the mistake of trying to do FAFSA and taxes at the same time

instead of punching a hole through my computer screen, Chloë suggested I draw an AvPol pocky kiss

but because I was pissed and impatient, I slapped this mess together in way too short of time lol

heres the dialogue in case you cant read my godawful handwriting:

Avdol: *crunch*

Polnareff: “Hey! Is that Pocky? Can I have some??”

Av: “This is the last piece. Mr. Joestar ate the rest of mine...”

Pol: “I could just steal that one!”

Av: “No you cannot!!!”

these were shitty doodles i had drawn beneath this nsfw mess that I forgot to post

the first was Chloë’s idea, although she intended it to be sexy instead of funny

poor sunburned Pol, I just wanted to draw that expression

for a while I was really undecided on what his hair was like down cuz canon looks like its straight but thats no fun imo so I bounced between “the buns are actually baby dreads” and “barely contained curly mess” but after a few humorous doodles involving the latter idea, I decided to stick with “curly mess” for now as for my scribbly ass writing, I sent the doodle to Chloë with the caption “You can take the boy out of the 80s but you can’t take the 80s out of the boy”

to which she replied “Hair band Avdol”

and it required an enormous amount of willpower not to immediately try to figure out what roles the SDC squad would have in said hypothetical band

(*coughs* joseph was buds with a member of REO Speedwagon and while he never could fulfill his own dreams, he managed to bribe his grandson into making a band by offering to fund it)

most of my little doodles I do as warmups or breaks from big projects 

OVA polnareff has baggy cargo pants and his hair is occasionally a real smooth looking swoop so I wanted to draw him they kinda traded the weird elegance he has for like THICC ANGERY BOY and while it’s not my fav take on him he is pretty tasty so I’m not complaining too much

and then Avdol with the ankle bracelets that Oingo’s manga gives him

I crashed Photoshop about four times trying to get that first one to work lmao

Cropped out the bit in the middle with Jotaro and Kakyoin because we need SEAMLESS AvPol hugging 

and then a bonus gif of Avdol shoving Polnareff out of the way because it cracks me up every time

I spent like an hour trying to figure out how to make gifs out of video files because I needed that first one of him smiling and boy howdy was learning that a mistake because I proceeded to stay up until like 4am on a work night crashing photoshop

have some OVA Avdols because they give me joy and expect more gifs because I made many and will likely make more

The most unrealistic part about Eyes of Heaven is that it lets me keep playing as Polnareff when we all know that he’s not letting either of those two out of his sight This was originally supposed to be lighthearted with Pol dragging Avdol and Iggy onto his lap and not letting them go But then I made Avdol lean towards him and then they were hugging and then Pol was crying and suddenly I had this

okay going back to watch Polnareff’s introduction is so fucking funny

Because he and Avdol are grinning and having so much fun fighting each other Then Avdol, with absolutely no proof other than some of the things Pol says/does, is like “he’s too honorable to be evil he’s gotta have a flesh bud” like hes just hoping that Pol will turn out to be a good guy to excuse how much he liked fighting him And of course the “I don’t understand his personality” scene is so easily misinterpreted He’s so taken aback Its okay Av he’s bi dont worry buddy

bonus because Avdol’s appearance and age just didn’t match for the first chunk (especially in the manga omg):

shitty comic and a Bucc doodle for my bud Pol’s shirt says “my sexuality isn’t the only thing thats flexible” in case ya can’t read it. it was something dumb that I thought of at work and scribbled out digitally once I got home i promised my friend I’d draw this really funny comic of Bucc and I still havent done it yet because I’m a lazy asshole but this was my preliminary “how to draw” sketch mostly trying to figure out his hair

holy shit this took forever idk exactly how long because I worked on it for a few hours every day after work but yeah I hadn’t done digital art in a while because of college I did like three doodles that turned out well and so naturally I’m like “lets do a full illustration with reflective fucking metal” 

anyways Polnareff is my very fav and I have some boeuf to settle with Araki on his treatment in part 5
