Vent post

As someone who grew up in the digital era I've only just started to realize how codependent I am.

Note this isn't about oneway lol

I am so dependent on audio and video from YouTube and Spotify that the moment I don't have the control I want on a platform I immediately get sent into fight or flight. I begin panicking.

If the video or song takes more than a few seconds to load I feel like the worst is happening.

I want to get out of this, I'm not addicted to TikTok but since I've been online my entire life it feels worse than that.

I remember our Internet being bad when I was a kid. The loading drove me crazy, to the point it'd send me into a meltdown when I couldn't watch the same rement unboxing by shubble for the billionth time.

I don't know how many people deal with this, and whether it's because of quarantine for them or not.

I think part of it for me is the utter isolation I experienced growing up, not including school and daycare I'd hole myself up in my room.

I'm not going to get into it but there were circumstances that led to my isolation that had nothing to do with my own personality.

Anyway, I wish I wasn't like this. I hope to make changes asap, but there's only so much I can do.

there wasn't anything new, idk why the update said there was, buuuut it urged me to make my persona in game, I don't use the app that often anymore, used to be a huge gacha club fan. I actually had an insta account with 1k+ followers in like 2021, but messed up when the app asked for my age and put the day it asked that and boom account deleted haha.
