I took a little doodle and turned it into a more detailed drawing that I wouldn’t have guessed would turn into something so… frightening.

Anyways, looks like we’re going to be playing peekaboo.

Marcus Stern, my lil loomis boy.

He and his “friend” Hoodie share the spirit of the Exile who is the last guardian of the goddess of light.

Over the course of the narrative he steadily grew into the role of the Exile and thus matured not only himself but Hoodie as well.

I have challenged myself by making him faceless and trying to give him expressions that are easy to discern despite his lack of features. (That doesn’t mean he’ll never have a face, I just want him to be able to have a unique look even if he doesn’t look like anything at all)

(Also I guess he gets eyebrows when he gets older)

The best drawings are the kind you either don’t remember drawing or you remembered drawing them but forgot what made you want to draw it.

Anyhow, still figuring it out, I might just have most of my nearish future posts be the same old monochromatic dirty unrefined concepts. I’m trying to learn more about how I perceive the shapes that make up the images I’m trying to convey and shading for certain ways of using light and darkness, also can’t forget about composition and anatomy, and still having the self criticisms that no artist should ever truly abandon.

another old digital dreamscape drawing. I wanted to depict a eclipse you could see without eye protection. the result is a faint golden ring, with the sun illuminating the moon from behind (or however eclipses work).

The phenomenon kicks up the sand and causes dust devils and sandstorms to wreak havoc on the affected areas while still offering a mostly clear and open sky to the inhabitants of the dreamscape.

Easy drawings from the day before yesterday.

Wanted to draw my first draft main cast from memory. Never had big plans for these characters that early, just your generic young adult supernatural fantasy.

In order from Left to Right:

Marcus, Ida, Lexi, Shon, and Thanny.

I’ve drawn these characters for a while and sometimes I just forget to draw them.

WARNING VERY OLD AND VERY UNFINISHED! (Also unrefined)

Hello. It’s been quite a while and since I’ve been digging through old art and stuff that I’ve put in storage I might be posting more doodles, concepts or whatever I feel comfortable sharing.

I was experimenting here with purple colors and different colored pencils and markers. I’m used to drawing mostly on physical media.

(I actually found a nice blueberry colored pencil that I have since used up completely)

Most of these sketches/concept drawings feature my OCs DM (Dream Master) and Marcus Stern.

I plan to elaborate on these ideas so that these pictures have more to them than their visual content.

For now this is designated Dreamscape content

I feel this collage I’ve presented illustrates the pathway that’s been cleared out and paved through.

Or at least it’ll serve as a reminder of where this all came from.
