It is currently summer and although I have like negative free time, I feel the urge to annoy my creations temporarily run an ask blog!
It’s something I’ve been wanting to do for like a thousand years and now I actually have a smidge of free time and???? Motivation??? To do art???
Oh and I guess I should mention I’m about to officially open commissions (and go to the San Antonio Superhero Comic Con, this 20th!!) so uh! Yeah that’s something!

This askblog actually already exists! But if no one wishes to interact, should I scrap it?
This askblog may contain information and interactions that are not universe-adjacent. Canon information will be given to the asker in the form of a drawn response, and interactions that occur are not canon unless specified. If a response depends on a particular time period within the universe that these characters reside in, I will specify.
Although there is a chronological order regarding these characters, there isn’t yet a fully fleshed out story, and the askblog will not contain a true ‘plot’ until specified.
Askable characters will be my main original characters, who are much more developed than my Valriants.

Valriants:
The Valriants! Currently mildly fixated on them, these characters are alternative versions of my main persona, Val.
The Valriants are a form of character affectionately known as a Dopple (inspired from the word ‘Doppelgänger’, if that wasn’t obvious).
The idea of alternative personas is not necessarily new, but the concept of calling them Dopples is something I’m pretty sure I created? Anyhow, these characters have relations to my friends’ Dopples, so an askblog with them may involve some other lovely people >:)
This askblog would not have any plots or stories, other than a flashback into a Valriant’s past or an interaction I simply wished to share.
Each Valriant belongs to a separate universe as their peers, but by the law of Creator Magic™️ they now all reside in Ria’s castle-mansion-thing! With other Dopples! It’s a full house guys like holy shi

Characters will be introduced one by one, in the form of a quick introduction and visualization. Aka, once I show what the character looks like and provide a snippet of information about them, they will be free to answer!

Characters do not currently have set ages, but none are under the age of 18. The only exception to this is if their younger selves make an appearance, a flashback occurs, or viewers are given a glimpse into the many other ‘verses’ these characters may appear in (ie. Highschool AU, Bitty Beans AU, Circus AU, etc)
Events and interactions will be categorized as canon, noncanon, or hypothetical.
Magic anons will be allowed!
Ask whatever! Literally, whatever. Don’t worry about being gross, obtrusive, personal, etc etc etc—I have my ways to provide a character’s response ;)
Although I will remain very open and lenient, I still reserve the right to deny any asks I want. Assume your ask will be answered eventually unless I have specifically told you otherwise!

Last book: Kayıp Tanrılar Ülkesi - Ahmet Ümit. Have yet to finish it but so far going amazing! Pretty engaging tbf lmao it kept even me locked in while reading. I should thank my brother for recommending it

Last book: ngl,the last book i touched this year is a biology book about human organs,but i forgot what i specifically read
Last song: perfect by ed sheeran,totally my top favorite,never got bored of it
Last series: Tamon's B side,it kinda cringes me a little but kinda like the lore,i also watched Fermat Kitchen,i like how the represent cooking in mathematical way

Last series I've watched: Apothecary Dairies. I've been binge watching it so yeah, definitely this one. ^^ (but if doesn't count as a series, then it's Uncanny Counter on Netflix.)
Last game I've played: Cookie Run Kingdom or Catch Bugs on roblox. (Don't judge me okay, I play catch bugs when I'm bored as fuck.)
Last Movie I've watched: Can't really remember what was the last movie I've watched... But I know that it's one of FPJ—Fernando Poe Jr's movies. I think it was Eseng ng Tondo or Ang Jowa Kong Balik Bayan. Although, if we're talking about some english movies I've watched before, then it was Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse.
Tea or Coffee: Hmm... I pick coffee since I'm a coffee person. Although, it would be nice to drink some tea too. But, I'm not drinking matcha tea. No, no, I don't like the taste of matcha. Like, at all. (Sorry for the matcha lovers out there)
Sweet or Salty: Hehe... Neither if I'm being honest here. I may be a foodie, but foods that are overly sweet or salty would make me lose my appetite, specifically the overly salty foods... Ew... I could say sweet if this is candied fruits we're talking about. But like I said, overly sweet or salty foods would make me throw up.

Last series: an anime my partner got me into, Delicious in Dungeon I believe is the English name? I rarely watch anime but I’m really liking this one! But holy shit there’s so much food.
Last game: Resident Evil: Requiem, a game I only found out about because my mum was struggling with a many things that took me..one or two tries… It’s a great game though, and she (we) finally finished it recently!
Last movie: Project Hail Mary!!! Also the last movie I’ve seen in theaters and genuinely one of the greatest movies I’ve seen in quite a while 💕
Tea or Coffee: Honestly neither lol, yet if I HAD to choose, tea but only with exceptions: drowned in honey (while sick/throat hurts) or drowned in sugar (sweet tea). Basically it has to be really sweet or else I can’t drink it.
Sweet or Salty: NOOO I LOVE BOTH D: I have such a strong sweet tooth that I’m constantly snacking on something sweet, but I also add a cardiac event-inducing amount of salt to most meals… I love my carbohydrates and sodium so much, I could never choose between them!! (sweet.)

Okay so I know only four (4) people on tumblr and the rest are all people I followed because they seem cool. That being said, I have no clue who is famous or a celebrity or will put me down like a dog for even breathing in their direction, so… Hi tags 👋
I’ve seen people talk about having magic in our blood and it’s seen in the most simple of ways; the most charismatic CEO has the charm of a siren, that graceful ballerina has the balance of a nymph, that track star who can run the fastest has the power of the centaurs, etc.
But what about the magic that doesn’t help? What about those with minor little curses instead of being legacy to some amazing myth?
Instead of having dragonblood in your veins, you’re cursed to always wait just a minute too short when letting something cool, so you end up burning your tongue on whatever food or drink. Not all the time, just only when it’s super hot.
Instead of distantly being related to graceful mermaids, you’re cursed to always spill water on yourself when you drink from a glass. Only glass, only water, and only ever just a few drops.
Instead of being intuned with nature like the mythical dryads, you’re just. Allergic to everything. To pollen, to most molds, to most trees and plants and even most grasses.
Instead of being the descendant of some fancy mythological creature, you’re cursed with never being able to properly grab a power towel or ply of toilet paper without ripping it in some shape or form. No matter the position of your hand or the angle you reach from, you have a 90% fail rate. You can’t remember the last time you had a perfect rip.
There’s all this talk about subtle powers, subtle magic, but what about the subtle curses? The ones that don’t hurt, never hurt, but merely annoy?
