"House"

“House” is my second published story. It was published by Fusion Fragment in May 2022.

(The magazine that published my first story seems to have collapsed and is no longer available online). 

It follows a journalist staying in a haunted house that falls in love with him. 

“When Carlos first moves in, he runs his fingers along the drywall as if he is thumbing a spine. He briefly imagines that the house shudders in response. He briefly imagines that it touches him back. He briefly imagines that he likes it.”
