Due to the neglect from his family, Max is kind of adorably clingy
Neil will have these random moments where he just gets super confident and flirts with Max but Max thinks it’s both cute and hot
Because Max doesn’t have a camp he’ll hang out with Neil and just admire him from a distance with some small talk in between
They could start a little conversation but accidentally keep talking about it for hours on end
David hears them talking on night about if bees can fart and figures they’ve been talking about it for a while so he leaves them be cause as long as Max is happy uwu
Max texts Neil these random memes during the day that are just inside jokes they have and they don’t feel like explaining it to anyone else
Max is a lot more cuddly than he acts
Neil buys Max a new plushie and Max ends up buying Neil a plushie too so now they both have matching little friends
Max is NOT a morning person and the only person he can successfully not call an asshat or dickcheese is Neil
