Judaism in The Sims

Imagine owning a game for nearly 10 years, spending almost 1200 dollars on it, and THIS is all the representation you have in it. This is not even about religion. Judaism is an ethnicity, a culture, that is just as valid as being black, white, asian, latino, native, or arab (which also have like ZERO representation in this game. maybe a hijab and like 2 recipes). There are 16 million jews in the world. More than 420 million arabs, and nearly 2 BILLION muslims. The fact that this is all we have is appalling.

P.S. I get that you were going for Hanukkah gelt, but... money imagery? REALLY? You wanna go THERE?? Packs used: Base Game, Seasons, and Holiday Celebration.

EA Rainbow Dress FIX by Zeussim

I fixed the awful rainbow swatches in these two dresses AND added 7 new rainbow swatches to each. The preview shows the override versions of the dresses! (EXCEPT the override of the tiered one doesn't have glitter since it affected the rest of the swatches, so I've added it as an extra swatch aka the tiered one has 8 extra swatches excluding the override)

The DAY after I posted my rounded nails skin detail, the amazing @synthsims came out with the stiletto nails that I once again, turned into a skin detail.

Also, I know no one really cares but I got over 300 notes on my last post which is crazy high for me so thank you for that 👉🏻👈🏻

MAXIS MATCH BALLERINA NAILS BY @synthsims MADE INTO SKIN DETAIL

99% of CC nails are always rings and not compatible with lashes, so when I found  @synthsims nails I pretty much stopes using any other nails. 3 lengths, a ton a swatches, compatible with lashes. So I decided to turn them into a skin details! Found in cheek scars (requires Get Famous I believe), nothing changed from the original, just the location!

Heeeello!

I think every simmer’s first sim was their sim self, and I am no exception. I think everyone’s first problem was that EA’s limited color Palette. So after years of playing The Sims I finally found a hair that is exactly like my real life hair! My CC collection is finally at a point where I think It’s versatile enough. Clueless

Today’s lookbook is from Clueless! I actually only saw that once, years ago so with google and some help from my Clueless-obsessed friends I came up with this! the hardest part by far was Tai’s hair because apparently I don’t have short curly ponytails (And I got the color wrong oops)!  I tried to recreate Cher’s ICONIC yellow outfit but to be honest I think she came out  Heather Mcnamara’s long-lost twin. Maya’s (me!) “FAV” skin overlay

I have a very specific type of skin overlays, something that is not 100% maxis match but not alpha (you don’t know me yet but I’m a maxis match user), so when I saw @oattoad​ skin overlay I fall in love! But I still wasn’t satisfied, and when I encountered @sunlitcrys​ skin I decided to do some matchmaking. So here it is: my first CC piece and first post.
