This had no right taking so long (cough cough I started making her a YEAR ago) but she's finally here and i think she turned out pretty awesome!

The tail is so fun to animate, head was the trickiest part to make and she doesn't really have glasses (idk how I'd do that) but its ok

in retrospect, that seam fakeout when you give them the fourth crystal where they say "the power of lost dreams" instead of determination like everyone thought makes perfect sense. consider that queen in chapter 2 already used the word determination when referring to the creation of dark fountains. dark fountains are constantly written as analogous to dreams. a false reality, which is then fully realized into something tangible through the will to see its existence, the will to *create* something out of an idea.

so of course, the shards you collect that are referred to as lost dreams dont use the power of determination. seam even corrects themself when referring to them with "will" which is deltarunes replacement word for that ! the crystals are the void that remains when a dream is dropped. theyre the "couldve been" hypotheticals. of course the items made from broken dreams wouldnt have the same power as the will to create them. of course !

however, isnt it interesting? even as im arguing these two concepts as opposites of each other, they both still contribute to making "empty space." the dark worlds are merely an illusion. the crystals make you see things that arent there in the light world. the power of determination and the power of lost dreams are two sides of the same coin. i feel, along the path of creativity, you are bound to lose things along the way... concepts get scrapped... you create too many dark worlds, and the roaring happens...

not every dream can come true.
