Some people like to keep their villagers wearing nice clothing. Sending them shirts in the mail works, but it can ruin their nice houses. Maybe you’re going for a themed town, but there aren’t many in-game outfits that will work. Or maybe you just want your villagers to wear some cozy sweaters for the winter but you don’t like any of the sweaters that the game provides.
The easiest way to get around this problem is to design your own shirts and put them on display at the Able Sister’s. Unfortunately you can’t put QRs up for display and many people don’t have an artistic bone in their body. Villager Fashion is for all the artistically challenged, micro-managing mayors out there!
Artists sign up to create shirt designs in exchange for payment. The artist gets to decide what price they want to charge in exchange for their work.
Clients can go through our list of artists and ask one to design some shirt patterns for them.
Once the artist has created the designs and received their payment, they go to the Able Sister’s shop in the client’s town and place the patterns on display. If there are less than 8 shirts, the other patterns can be replaced with duplicates or hat/umbrella patterns to prevent the animals from wearing them.
After a few days, some of the animals in the client’s town should start changing into the new custom designs!
