Meteorological spring starts in 4 days. That doesn’t mean no more snow, but we are so close.
My Spring/May Scrapbook page. I’m a May baby if you couldn’t tell.
We had fake spring for a week here in Michigan and it was the most refreshing and happiest moment. Now it’s back to gloom and snow and I genuinely can’t take it. One more week of February and then I’m officially OVER IT. I might still be in sweaters, boots, and lingering depression for March, but I’m putting on my never ending spring/summer playlist and manifesting happier days.
I’m getting my license April 1st and then I will drive on country roads past the greenest grass and fields of flowers that seem to go on forever. I’ll be listening to the prettiest songs and breathing in the freshest air.
spring is coming. Spring IS COMING. You will stand on soft grass again, and feel the sun kiss your cheeks and shoulders. you will eat of the same berries as the animals returned from their hibernation. you will hear the air alive with your collective breathing.
yes, we are halfway there.

Christmas is over so it’s spring now right?
busy day!
March 2023
A few seconds of spring.
My emotional support tree got completely broken apart in a winter storm and now I don’t know what to do. There’s not a branch right up next to my bathroom window anymore to look out at to see if I can see the buds blooming for spring or the leaves turning for fall. I’m truly emotionally distraught my emotional support tree aka the inanimate object I’m attached to is pretty much a goner. Big branch’s broke off and the tree is leaned away from the house. It seems a million miles away now. I hate winter. This has most definitely been the worst winter.
Before and after. Obviously it’s winter so I know the tree looks inevitably worse right now.

Late May a couple years ago. This picture reminds me of the play A Midsummer Night’s Dream for some reason.
