Student vs Teacher

On the first day of class my teacher said anyone that had their phone out in  class while he was teaching was going to get kicked out. Im assuming one of my classmates thought he was kidding and didn't take him seriously. Well as you can guess, he was kicked out and yelled at my teacher saying “he didn't know who he was talking to”. First of all, Im pretty f***ing sure he knew who he was talking to he's your teacher. Second, don't disrespect him like that he said a thousand times no phones and your dumbass still felt the need to text your “mom” or whatever excuse you gave him. Learn to keep your phone at home or at least out of plain sight. There are too many people who I see that can't live without a smartphone. Get a hobby and get better excuses to tell your teacher.

The Grass Is Always Greener On the Other Side

I was just about to take a job as a mall security guard today and after a talk with my dad making me feel dumb as hell I realized something. I have a good job now with good pay and I can practically make my work schedule. I am getting a raise next week and its a fairly easy job. I thought It would be better because i could finally leave fast food and get a “better job”. My dad made me realize I know what I have and not what i can get. Things may seem better but they might not work with my schedule, i might not like my co workers, and I would get less pay. Why didn't I realize this before? Because the grass is always greener on the other side. Many people find a situation like this in their lives whether its a job, relationship, or anything else really. For example, my best friend broke up with his girlfriend that he was going out with for almost two years because he thought he could get with this other girl. They dated for maybe a month, if that, and broke up. After begging his ex to take him back she refused. He was upset and claimed it was one of the dumbest things he has ever done. It was but i couldn't really have sympathy for him, he knew the consequences of his actions and still proceeded. “Know what you have because you don't know what you can get.”

Organizing Tip

So I recently bought a filling cabinet and let me just say it was one of the best investments I ever made. I saved all of my notes and private studies in folders and now that it is organized and my teachers just lecture me about their life and don't explain the hw, i can always reflect back to my notes. Ive used a lot of my notes from high school to study for quizzes and tests because some of the courses are basically the same. Anyone in college or going into college I highly recommend you get one. It will help you for future reference or, you can just sell you notes to an underclassman and make some money.

Money + Happiness

After talking about finances today with my boss I realized money isn't even close to being related to happiness. I already have been told this but it is always good to get an opinion from somebody, especially somebody with experience. My boss who didn't graduate college, works six days a week, and makes a decent amount of money working salary at a minimum wage job is “happy”. And why do i put happy in quotes? Most people if not all need money to be happy. It is almost as necessary as food and water for some. Money is very important and goes a long way but money can’t buy what that women has. She is smart, friendly, and a very hard worker. She has more than what she needs, a loving husband and couldn't ask for more. So why can't all rich people find happiness? Because they aren't content with what they have. There are some people that have it all and the just want more. Some consider greed to be human nature. Im trying to tell you guys to be humble. Be happy with your life. Im not saying don't settle with what you have but don't sell yourself short. Be happy with what you have because some people have nothing. “Some people are so poor all they have is money”.

Friends in 3s

From my personal experience and from what I have herd from other people, a group of three friends can be very dangerous. Not to say that this is all groups in threes but most of the time there are problems. Problems pertaining to an unequal proportion of people. And when there is an unequal distribution of power as we know as humans we will take that advantage. So for instance, I was in a trio with two of my best friends. And everything was good for a while but one of my friends always felt the need to overpower me and my other friend. He would make stuff up that we said and tell the other person. But because we were all best friends we never asked each other if that really happened because we took what that one kid said as law, I didn't ask him and he didn't ask me because we didn't want to betray the kid that told us because he said not to say anything. Little did we know the kid that was saying all of this wanted both of us for himself and didn't like how all three of us could be friends. Why didn't he want us friends? Many reasons. The one that really sticks out to me is he wanted the power. Those extra pieces of the triangle that couldn't fit in. After all a triangle can't split evenly so if you want to get technical why would anything else split in thirds as well. A lot of what we know and the knowledge we have obtained today has been from math so why can't we put it into algebra. The point I'm trying to make is there is always going to be someone that wants that extra “piece” of the triangle and the best thing to do is either take yourself away from the situation or figure it out. And by figuring things out its not rocket science its a lost art I like to call talking things out. Wow I really said talk things out, a lost skill for most humans if you ask me. Im not saying things could never work between three friends but in general this has always been a danger zone for me as well as most of the people I know. So whats the take home message? be aware of the dangers in a trio.

Growing Up

So Im proud to say I finally went to Chuck e Cheese today. I haven't been there in almost 2 years and I'm actually glad I had the time to go. I used to hate going when I was younger because i felt like a “kid”. I always felt self conscious thinking people were judging me because I was in high school playing games with my brothers.  Now I'm older and regret not going when I was younger with my younger siblings as much. Playing basketball with my dad, shooting up zombies with my bros, getting dollar ice cream from the machines. Your probably thinking ok you went to a kid arcade and your in college you must have a lot of free time on your hands. The point I'm trying to make is don't worry about growing up so much. I had a awesome time dunking on four year old brother and I’ll do it again. Don't worry about growing up so fast because it feels like I blinked and I'm already in college. Enjoy your time as a kid because soon enough you'll be too old to do some of the stuff your doing now. And if fun for you is going to Chuck E Cheese, who am I or anybody else to judge?

I just did you all a favor by making a blog. First off I just want to say I highly doubt all those usernames were taken, tumbler thanks for wasting 20 min of my time, but I like this username anyways.
