I think he’s an ass, but it’s confusing when he does things like that.” Malia admitted. “I’m still mad at him, he used me before and went after Scott. I keep trusting the wrong people, and I’m not going to be open to them anymore. I get screwed over too easy.”

“He isn’t pure evil, there is some good left in him.” Not much in her opinion, probably not enough to redeem him, but some. ”You definitely should not trust him. I’m not saying you should forgive him by any means. Honestly, if I were you I would beat the living crap out of him. In fact, if you ever decide to do that, let me know so I can get a few hits in.” He had, after all, tried to kill her son on numerous occasions.

“He’s..different.” Malia’s nose crinkled as she thought of Peter. “Does he seem any different than before?” She knew he’d faked it before, and then tried to kill Scott. “He saved me…he was ready for the Ghost Riders to take him again so I got away.”

“He’s really not.” Melissa frowned, trying to think of the right way to word it. “Peter has always cared about his family to some degree. Sure, he has some shitty ways of showing it and he has done some pretty messed up things in the past, but it isn’t hard to tell that he cares about what’s left of them.” That wasn’t to say Peter was good, he has tried to kill her son, after all, but she did see some good in him. “Who knows, parental instinct can make you do some stupid shit.”

“I can’t say he’s not tempting.” Melissa smiled, wrapping her arms around the girl tightly in return before pulling back. “I guess you have a point. The last guy I went on a date with said he was intimidated by me…” She frowned for a moment before brushing it off. “Of course I remember how to flirt, I’d say I’m pretty good at it, actually.”

“Amazing women are intimidating. Fact.” Malia pointed. “Well I say, put your best flirt on and see who responds the best. I mean I would just make a move but as Lydia tells me you have to have a little mystery. Make them come to you. Whichever one works, and if they all go after you then you will need to ask Lydia for what to do next, I’ve only had one at a time.”

“If they all go for me?” Melissa pursed her lips for a moment. “Maybe I should just try for one at a time, and if they don’t show any interest I’ll just move on to the next. If none of them show interest, I can always hit your dad up again.” She added jokingly.

I happen to know that being supernatural makes your age not really as important.” Malia smiled and quickly wrapped her arms around the mother figure. “I’ll help you. You don’t see them looking, you’re strong and independent..so like me and Lydia..guys don’t know we’re available.” She pulled from the hug and looked at her. “Do you remember how to flirt?”

Theo had been brought to the hospital after suffering both an asthma attack and a heart failure, it seemed impossible for both to happen, all he knew was that it just did. Of course, Scott was the one who drove him to the hospital, the ambulance would take too long anyways. What better way to start a reunion after being away from the town for a few months. (Have a good Human Theo that was never evil)

Melissa had been preparing to head home when Theo was brought in. Her heart sank as she saw another person she cared of wheeled through the ER, pain obvious on his face. Doctors were quick to rush to his side, yelling orders to the staff as they passed. Melissa was quick to join in on the crowd around the boy, quickly realizing what was wrong. “You’re gonna be fine, Theo.” She promised in an attempt to soothe the obviously upset boy before she began to assist the doctors.

“He’s good looking too.” Malia shrugged. “I think of you now kinda like my own mom, seeing as one is dead and the other tried to kill me, I don’t have one of those. So I think you need to find someone who can live up to the life you have and isn’t a dick. Even if he shot me, and I want to hit him. I’d have said Sheriff Stilinski too though. Unless you like young guys then you can go for Parrish. You can have whoever you want.”

“Parrish is pretty hot, but isn’t he a little too young for me. 25? That’s 11 years younger than me. I can’t say I’d be opposed to Argent or Stilinski, but first they would have to show interest and that isn’t happening.” Melissa smiled awkwardly, suppressing the temptation to hug the girl. “I’ve always wanted a daughter, so that works for me.”

“You’re hot.” Malia stated simply. “I don’t see how you’re not dating anyone. I mean, sure you have an alpha son but who says you can’t find a nice guy. Maybe a hunter?” She gave a bright smile.

“I’m old. Most of the guys my age are taken... Or come with too baggage.” Melissa shrugged, raising a brow at the girls suggestion. “Is that supposed to be a hint?”

“Just tired, I think. He’ll probably be down in a few minutes.” Melissa commented, drinking her own mug quickly. “If not, we can always dump a nice glass of cold water on him.”

“You could have almost been my stepmother” Malia’s lips pressed together to keep from showing her amusement. “That’s disturbing by the way. I guess I don’t see his appeal to anyone, I mean..my biological mom didn’t stick with him.”

“I mean, I still could be. He seemed pretty interested in that second date.” Melissa tried to keep a serious face, but couldn’t help but crack a grin. “I mean, he isn’t too hard on the eyes... I didn’t know much about him and I was kinda desperate. Not like I get many dates now.”
