Elena had been bedridden since Rosie was born. Her birth had been more traumatic thanks to all of the chaos that Elena had been dealing with. It was one of the first times she felt strong enough to leave the house and she was pushing Rosie around town looking at the lights and decorations. "Look at all the pretty lights, baby." She gushed, turning Rosie's stroller so she could see them better. @btiesstarters
“Yeah, they are nice.” Feriya remarked as she looked at the other for a moment. She had to say, they weren’t too bad and a nice distraction from everything that had gone on. “Best I’ve seen for a while.”
"Can I offer you some hot chocolate? Maybe some gingerbread cookies?" He asked the person walking the stall that he was currently working on. He had volunteered to work at the fair, both because it was a good way to keep an eye on the crowd and give back to the community. And he was bored, so why not? "We have other things too, if you're not feeling hot chocolate or gingerbread cookies." He shrugged his shoulders. @btiesstarters
“A hot chocolate would be great.” The other remarked. His memories slowly been flickering into his mind for the last few weeks. “No, a hot chocolate would be great, staying off the mulled wine if you get what I mean.”
@btiesstarters "Tell me this is not a brilliant beyond brilliant idea! Ruby hot chocolate. It's pink!" Violet held up the cup, absolutely loving how it perfectly fit her aesthetic. And her pink santa outfit. "Now I didn't make it because I burn water, but I did make the suggestion so I get like half credit, right?"
“I mean..” a small pause for a moment as she watched her cousin for a moment. She couldn’t be mean to her at all. “It was brilliant, and I think you should get full credit. I could make the person give you the credit.” Niamh would find a way to do that if she had to.

Bonnie finished crooning the last few lines of All I Want for Christmas as the applause started. She waved and smiled, giving a little bow before walking off the stage. "I don't think I quite did Mariah Carey justice, but I don't think I was terrible."
“I think it was wonderful.” Lale beamed as she looked at the other. It really was amazing to hear. “You shouldn’t put yourself down. Everyone loved it.”
"Okay, so if I know what i'm doing-" Declan said, rolling out from under the ferris wheel, dirty from the repair work. "- this should now be working," he said, looking up at the ferris wheel to see it start to spin. "Thank god." @btiesstarters
“is being a mechanic also on your job description?” Ember commented as she watched the other for a moment. Seemed like the mayor was always doing some ‘weird’ thing other than taking control of New Orleans. “Is this another avoidance tactic?”
"I think we could all really use some Christmas spirit right now," Keelin said, as she worked to put the last of the decorations on the new Christmas tree in the main street, ready for the fair. "Though after this, I want to head over to the Mayor's office, I heard they are giving out Christmas hats to anyone that wants them." @btiesstarters
“christmas hats?”a roll of her eyes as she heard the other speak. sounded more like a bribe to fill everyone with fake joy, in izzies opinion. “Christmas hats are really going to make everyone feel so happy and forget about everything.” sarcasm deep in her tone.
"I was passed out for quite a while but I'm better now. I just wanted to make sure everyone else was okay. I wish I understood what was happening, but I don't" Ellie sighed, shaking her head. "I just want everything to be okay is all."
“Oh? That’s not good at all.” Someone to be passed out for a while was not good at all. It was..curious too. “And I think everyone is okay now and I think most of us are in the same boat.. nothing makes sense anymore, not even the sun and the moon.”
"I can imagine, it seemed you nailed your head pretty good," she chuckled softly as she looked over the other. "I think you'll live though, as a doctor via google"
A soft giggle escaped her lips as she heard the other talk. “I have a real doctor at home and I’m sure she’d say the same thing that I’m okay.” Lale smiled as she watched the other. “Did you hurt yourself too? Do you want me to check you over?”
He knew that look in the other's eye that was basically dying to ask him more about what he's drunk. "That's where the perk of free will comes in, you get to choose just how much you put in," he nodded as he finished his drink. "Wouldn't you like to know," he scoffed dramatically, "a dead man tells no tales"
She continued to watch him, curious about what he had done before. Lips pressed for a moment and a sigh escaped her lips. How dare he not tell her. “I mean, you’ve hooked me in.” She commented, eyes looking at the other for a moment. “I could..get you another drink and you could tell me about it? I think it’s only fair.”
Keelin moved over to her daughter, pulling her into a hug, just to make sure she was okay. To hear Lale's heart beating her ears. "I did," she said, though she didn't want her daughter to worry about her. "But your brother didn't, he was okay." Which she didn't completely understand but at least that was something.
The hug was just what she needed right now. It was perfect in every way and a wave of relief crashed through the fairy. “None of this makes any sense but as long as we are all okay, that is all that matters.” She commented softly. It was something she would keep telling herself, nothing mattered unless one of them got hurt.
"Good thing I'm the last person trying to be Sherlock Holmes around here," Violet said as she checked her cousin over for any injuries. "But I will worry about your pretty little head and make sure you're okay."
“I think you’d need more than sherlock holmes to interact with this case.” Lale commented as she watched her cousin for a moment. “And I’m fine, really I am. A cup of warm hot chocolate will fix the problem.”
“Oh no.” Josie laughed. “Nothing you can give me at least.”
“You know, you’re not making much sense at all.” And maybe alarm bells should be going off in the fairies mind. “But, if you think of anything, I maybe able to help.” She always did try and help others around her.
"I don't think I'm going to be a great cook anytime soon but that's a nice thing to say." She said with a chuckle. "Are you like a professional cook or something? You do this for a living?" She asked him, titling her head to the side.
A chuckle escaped his lips as he looked at the other. “Yeah, I’m a professional chef.” He mused as he watched the other for a moment. “It was the only thing I was good at, growing up and you know, turned it into my job.”
"Just because you're 'not as bad as them' doesn't mean you're necessarily okay," she countered, knowing she was in that boat, herself. "Listen, my head hurts, so just stop being stubborn and sit down and catch your breath for a minute"
“Okay…”he commented as he looked at the other. Himself being more and more confused as the seconds went by, the thoughts still running through his head as to why the other thought he had smashed the glass. Sitting down, he took in a long deep breath. No, no, he had to ask. “Why did you think that was me that caused the glsss to break? You said you did it too as well..” he needed answers.

her voice was soothing as always . telling her stories as she braided her child's hair on the porch . the grass was still wet from the storm but the sun was out as if it woke up from a deep slumber and now working hard to make up for the days of the storm . ❝ ⸻ the earth was made from the Ymir's flesh and oceans from his blood , when the titan was thawed from the ice. The gods , they made hills out of his bones, and trees from his hairs , and the sky dome is his skull. And out of his brain they shaped the welling dark clouds . . . ❞
He was on a walk back from work, when he passed the other and stopped. There was something about the way she was speaking that drew the other in. Small flickers of memories flooding in for a brief moment. “That sounds like a good story you’re telling.” Henrik commented as he watched the other, he didn’t want to intrude on the other. “Where did you hear that from?”
"I hate to put out witchcraft as a thing," she said, when he commented about not having a wound, but he seems to be completely unaware that that was a possibility for himself. So maybe he was just... human. Some of them were after all. "Well i'm sure you can help make sure no one hurt themselves falling over then," she said, moving the newborn in her arms.
“Witchcraft isn’t a thing for me.” Henrik commented as he watched the other, although, these accidents seemed to be happening more and more frequently when he was around. It had to be a coincidence. “And I’ll grab a broom and sweep it up, don’t want anyone hurt by the glass.”
