space girl, i saw a lunar eclipse, looked like how i feel 'bout your lips. space girl, the only way that we'd end was if you were sucked into a black hole. but i'd still spend my days dreaming 'bout you.
Mollie came to Elias with her father, John Silver, on a search for the map to Treasure Planet, where Captain Flint’s treasure was rumored to be at. Finding a treasure like that would make them rich for the rest of their lives, and it wasn’t rare that her father would rant and ramble to her of the jewels, the gold they would find. She could only imagine herself decked out in all of it, with enough money that she could buy any silly little thing her heart desired. She was told of the plan to steal the desired map from Jim Hawkins, but what she didn’t expect was to grow a friendship, or even really something that turned more into a sibling bond with him. She did start to feel a little guilty at this point in time, but the thought that they could just share some of the treasure, as the way it was described to her was that there was plenty to go around, and everything would end up happily ever after. Until she stumbled upon hearing information that she wished to this day she hadn’t heard; that Scroop would solve the ‘problem’ of Jim Hawkins if her father didn’t get his hands on that map as soon as he could. Now, not only is she dealing with the sometime alien-feeling of a place she didn’t always understand or fit in to, but she carried a weight on her shoulders, knowing there would be grave differences in the future depending on how she handled what she overheard.
past !!
There is much Mollie knows of her life before John Silver found her on one his earlier trips as a pirate, not intending to bring a little girl back onto the ship with the loot the crew had grabbed. It was assumed someone had taken care of her before, but they hadn’t been there recently or the normally tough-skinned pirate wanted hadn’t taken pity on the girl who had all the signs of abandonment. As she grew up, Mollie learned to love life on the ship, even if she was always left back to look on the crew from the port windows, told the pirate events that took place off the ship were much too dangerous for a child to tag along on. It could get lonely sometimes, when there weren’t many people other than the crew for her be social with, and then also being the only one left behind when they did have plans to snatch something up. Other than their ship, there was no permanent location that she knew as home, not even sure if the place she was found was actually her original home. When she was told they would be living on a planet for some time, at least as long as it took to get the map, Mollie couldn’t help but feel some excitement over having somewhere that she could actually explore, too. Even if it was her father’s original plan, there was no way she would be locked in the ship for the entirety of their visit to Elias.
future !!
A lot of Mollie’s future is still not planned out. She would like to find a way to stay at Elias longer, not being able to imagine boarding the ship and going back out to explore the galaxies for the rest of her life after the connection she had built on the land here. Eventually, what she heard of Scroop’s threats will be shared, unable to keep it to herself forever, even if she had for this long. She does end up staying in Elias, having her own (eccentric) daughter and future life in the city. Future career is still tbd.

friends ; Mollie is a pretty social person, so I would love to get some more friend connections going for her as she did have many more at one point.
crush plot ; Whether Mollie is on the receiving end of it or has silly little heart eyes for someone else, I think it would be a really fun aspect to explore for her.
I....am blanking on more suggestions but if you message me, I am sure I can come up with something. Mollie can be a weirdo, so it’s somewhat easy to come up with connects for her on a character-basis.
SHEER CAPE MATCHING HER DRESS WAS BILLOWING OUT BEHIND Mollie as she made her way through the crowd, hands holding it a bit so it didn’t entirely get in the way of others when her eye caught a familiar face. Excitedly, she had made way right up to Serena with a wide smile. Before coming to Elias, Mollie hadn’t really taken any interest in fashion, as there wasn’t much opportunity to collect a lot of garments when stuck on a pirate ship, but she seemed to collect a fair share of stylish friends since being here. Well, maybe friend was a strong term for her relationship with Serena considering it had only been one conversation and some headbands, but Mollie was such a social butterfly that she usually considered someone a friend just after half a conversation. “Ooh, I love your pretty dress! Did you also make it yourself? Can you make a dress by yourself? That sounds really hard, like, a lot harder than a headband or hair thing.” As if it was even a question, the blonde followed up with, “I didn’t make mine.”
“A necklace?” Dale says, hands freezing for a moment as he stares at her with wide eyes. “You want me to make a necklace? Not a crown or a dog? I… I haven’t gotten that far in my lessons yet, clown school is so expensive I could only afford the starter lessons!”
Dale dramatically hangs his head for a moment, softly saying. “I’m so sorry to have failed you.” Or at least attempting too. He would have pulled it off he had been able to hold back the laughter.
“I’m just joking. I can absolutely make that. I’m thinking 2 roses with a daisy in the middle?” He asks as he starts to work on said necklace. “Bold choices by the way, I love it! Such forward thinking with using your accent color. Yes. I think that while this necklace will pale in comparison too, it will still add to the overall look.”
"WELL, A CROWN WOULD BE COOL IF YOU CAN’T....” Mollie trailed off, at seeing his hesitation at her request, as she did ask for something that he wasn’t exactly offering. “Whatever you can do is okay!” she was quick to comfort, not meaning to insult the person who just offered to present her with something. At his upset expression, Mollie was about to open his mouth to say something about how bad she felt to put him in such a slump, until he began to laugh and her giggles quickly followed after, even if she was still a bit confused. “You can!? Oh my galaxies, I am going to be the best dressed person here for sure!” The blonde knew that wouldn’t be the truth when there were people much more fashionable than her in attendance, but she knew the balloon necklace was sure to improve her look. “You can even make different types of flowers? That’s so cool! That sounds amazing.” Her smile only increased at his comment about being bold, as she rocked backwards on her heels. “I get told that a lot. Especially more when I’m wearing on of my feather boas. My choice in clothing is kinda....unique, as I’ve been told. But I like to wear whatever looks cool!” Mollie was already excited to be at the event, but the idea of getting a personal balloon creation only increased that. “So, mostly blue with some pink works?”
MOLLIE WASN’T SURE SHE HAD EVER ATTENDED AN EVENT as fancy as the one she was currently standing at, eyes practically stars themselves as she dazzled by the entire experience. It was beautiful. And she did her best to look the part, with the first floor-length dress she had ever been adorned with. Which would explain why, despite the constant crowd of people that the floor was filled with, the blonde couldn’t resist twisting and turning just to see the bottom of her dress come alive with the movement. She’d always be a pirate but tonight, she also got to feel like a princess. Accidentally bumping shoulders with someone as her eyes were trained downwards as she was once again moving from side to side, her head popped up to immediately say, “Sorry!” without thought, until she registered who she had run into, expression souring slightly. “Oh.” There was a pause, balloon necklace she was wearing squeaking slightly as her head tilted. “Why would you come to here if you hate people?” The latter of the statement was an assumption, but Mollie was one to usually convince herself of things.
Dale had been at the gala for about an hour before an intrusive thought struck him and pulled him back to the entrance. With no Chip on his shoulder, hehe, there really wasn’t anyone around to keep him in check at these kinds of events. There was no one to stop him from causing a bit of harmless mischief.
“Excuse me!” Dale called out to the person coming inside the building. “I’m so sorry to trouble you, but it seems you’re a bit outside of dress code.” He said in his most official and professional voice. “Allow me to fix that for you.”
He pulled a balloon pump from within his coat, quickly finding a matching color to their outfit and began inflating the balloon.
“Now, would you like it to be a basic hat, a flower crown, a cute set of animal ears, or may-haps you have something else in mind?”
WIDE EYES LOOKED UP THE MAN WHO STOPPED HER, blonde hair falling onto her shoulder as she tilted her head in confusion. Mollie hadn’t realized there would be such a strict dress code, as long as one was dressed up. Although, considering her flair for more unusual styles, the idea that something she was wearing amongst the different textures went against the elegant setting. Her naive confusion only increased at the offer to fix it, as she wasn’t keen on the idea of anyone but Penelope fixing how she dressed without permission. Eyes once large with confusion changed to that of amusement when the balloons were pulled into sight, feet slipping onto her tippy toes to bounce excitedly. “Oh, a flower crown! Or, can you make a balloon necklace that has a flower on it? And the flower can be my accent color?” The latter was something she had recently learned of, adding to her usual monochrome looks. “Can you do that?”
IT WASN’T REALLY SOMETHING THAT MOLLIE HAD access to so regularly before, so ice cream stands were something that Mollie had quickly become obsessed with quite easily. She was standing with a hand against her chin, much the thoughtful expression, as she took in all the considerations. “Does peanut butter with fruity pebbles on top or strawberry ice cream with caramel on top sound better?” She asked the nearest person to her, even if the bystander had no interest in ice cream, as she was a few feet away from the cart. “And the kind of cones are way too many! How am I supposed to know which one is better?”
where: wherever this gal could set up an impromptu tarot reading session
“okay, bear with me because i’m not super sure how this works yet?” anna clarified as she shuffled the deck and settled into her cross-legged seating position. “the cards were sort of an impulse purchase and i think i might know the basics? but, i mean, i’ve barely actually done it so the card interpretation and, you know, everything might be a bit messy?” she frowned to herself before glancing back up at the person currently entertaining her offer. her expression brightened, covering the nervousness. “it’ll be fun, though, i promise!”
MOLLIE NODDED ALONG EAGERLY, still not sure of what she had gotten herself into, but that wasn’t an uncommon theme for the girl’s days. If she wasn’t finding herself in some sort of interesting situation like this, then she was usually creating one. “I don’t care if it’s messy, Anna!” Mollie said with a wave of her hand, as if to wave away the redhead’s concerns, an action she had picked up from the people of Elias since arriving. “So, this will tell my future? Can I change it after getting my future told or is it permanent?” The blonde was already looking at this as if it was an actual science, curiously looking at the back of the cards in Anna’s hands.
🗡️ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ─────────── philip opened his mouth as if he were to say something but then promptly shut it as he looked back at the other. brows furrowed as he thought long and hard ( which if we were being honest here long thought was something philip didn’t do often ) “ well, i suppose no but they’re fun to have. ” philip replied. technically not everyone needed a sword. aesthetically they were nice but not everyone was trained to slay dragons. The prince did as he was suggested and closed his eyes as he waited. he could only hear what was going on behind him which left his mind to wander. at the confirmation to open his eyes philip did as such and turned back around. “ wonderful, ” he exclaimed, gripping the sword tightly and pulling it with the same might he had before. it was his fault for assuming the sword was still lodged in there tight because with the force he was pulling with the sword moved with ease like butter on a hot skillet and philip fell back on his rear end. “ dear, god. how did you get it unstuck so easily ? ”
MOLLIE GAVE A SHRUG AT HIS ANSWER, as she didn’t really have an opinion on whether swords would be fun to have, but it seemed reasonable enough to her. “Fun to have so that you can defeat...trees?” She asked, eyes going back to where the sword currently was in the bark. There was some curiosity as to how it got in there in the first place. She had to imagine that there would more enjoyable activities to do with it, like defeat big, scary aliens. Mollie clapped as she raised to the balls of her feet in celebration when the sword became free, after hopping back a bit when he fell down. Offering a hand to help him back up, her eyes kind of looked around a bit before she raised one shoulder in a shrug, “Uh, physics?” As if she knew anything about physics beyond how to spell it.
Surely, this had to be a hoax because none of this truly made any sense to him. Rude? He’d heard it a lot. And was used to the words that followed. At times he would even take responsibility for his own actions and “rudeness”. But it wasn’t his fault this time around. The sidewalk didn’t belong to just one person. Astonished, the prince observed how the others around them strolled with a particular cadence.
Infuriated, brows snapped together, arms folded across his chest. “ It’s none of your concern who I’ll be meeting. Because of you, everyone around you is moving at a considerably slower pace. So either step aside or pick up the pace. We can’t all wait for your head to descend from the clouds.”
"WELL, I HOPE THEY AREN’T IN A GOOD MOOD because they won’t be for awhile.” Mollie muttered to herself, alluding to his poor attitude. She was always one to speak her mind, whether that fact found herself in trouble or not. “Maybe we’re all moving at a regular pace and you’re the one who is just tying to go too fast. Did you think that?” Her blonde eyebrows were raised high on her forehead as she asked that question. Considering she looked the image of the opposite of an intimidating girl and was also decked out in pink, one may think she would be more careful with her confrontations. But her morphing and lack of filter meant otherwise. “Everyone can’t all walk just the way you want.”
the moment she and dipper made it to elias mabel was lit with excitement and awe; don’t get her wrong, she was absolutely gonna miss gravity falls and all the amazing people they met there but a new place to call home was an opportunity, and she was so ready to dive in head first, deciding to spend her day walking around town and getting acquainted by everything the place had to offer, which leads us to here, with the short girl standing in front of the aisle with distraught eyes and a pout on her lips as she tried once more on her toes as her arm extended toward the 16″ darex the dino squishmallow sitting on the higher shelf of the aisle, (all round and beautiful with the kindest eyes) before letting out a defeated sigh, muttering out a few huffy words under her breath with her pout becoming all the more exaggerated, but she was determined, and very close to straight up climbing up the shelf herself before quickly perking up just a bit at the sight of the other person walking by, almost obnoxiously waving her hands up in the hopes of getting their attention. “hey! hi, you, yeah! um, c-could i use your height real quick? maybe? possibly?…please? i’ll like…share all my candy with you forever for like, the rest of my life, i swear, i’ve got like, lots of it…and if that’s like, not what you’re into i also totally have these cute lil stickers you could choose from too, glittery ones, these hilarious ones with lil googly eyes on ‘em, you name it, i probably got it!” she snorts softly at herself, giving the other her best set of puppy dog eyes. “…i’ll also be your best friend forever?” she beams pleadingly, in a way she hopes is convincing.
BEING FIVE TEN HAD ITS ADVANTAGES. Being able to kind of alter your height at any given moment with morphing had even more. Mollie blinked a few times when her attention was grabbed, as if trying to figure out if she was the intended person for the help. “I do like glittery stickers,” the blonde considered, even though she probably would have done it even if they weren’t mentioned. “I can help you. Is this what you wanted?” Her hand grabbed the blue stuffy, holding it out to the other after getting it off the shelf. “But, are you serious about being friends? I take that kinda thing pretty serious. And I do want more friends. But sometimes people use the word friends but then it doesn’t really feel like you’re friends.” Mollie hadn’t really noticed the little tangent she had taken herself on, as it wasn’t uncommon for her. Giving a smile, she finished with, “I’m Mollie!”
“aw thank you, mollie wollie.” she said grabbing her drink from beside the blonde and taking a swig. “karaoke is a favorite pastime of mine.” she admitted. “i have my own machine at home.. you’ll have to come over and we can have a whole sing-a-long. i’ll invite wally and it’ll be a whole thing. we’ll have the best time.” when mollie looked nervous penny grabbed her hands in her own. “mollie darling, there is no wrong song. you get up there and make your own international singer fantasy and the crowd will love it! now tell me, lovie, what song did you chose?”
MOLLIE HAD TO GRIN AT THE NICKNAME, as Penny usually had a way of calming whatever feeling she wasn’t used to. “Maybe I should have practiced with your machine first...” That probably would have been smart, but when initially signing up, the blonde kind of got ahead of herself. It wouldn’t be the first time, or most likely not the last. “The Walking on Sunshine song! I know all the words in case I can’t read the screen-thingy. And the song is so fun.”
He’d been trying his best to balance everything. His business, his family and his unresolved issues that he’d rather not think about. The only person who understood the struggle of living on a world that was so foreign. Wally tried their best but their was an emptiness in him as he looked up to the sky. He was missing his mom and he was worried about what was coming for him. He held something very important and he could only hide it for so long. He also knew that he has a mission to complete which meant he was going to be led away from what he’d built here.
“Is it good?” He’d taken Mollie out to the pier for lunch today. He always tried to spend as much time as he could with her. “Maybe we can play some of the games after. I haven’t had the chance too.”
MOLLIE KNEW THE INFORMATION WOULD COME OUT eventually. The key was to not have it come out by Scroop doing something like he threatened. She didn’t want to get her father in trouble, but she also knew she would never forgive herself if something happened to Jim. However, she wasn’t about to ruin their lunch by bringing it up at that moment. It had to be the right time. Or maybe she was just telling herself that as a way to put it off just a little bit longer. Mollie nodded her head eagerly as she took another big bite of her burger, clearly pleased. “Really good!” She responded after swallowing. “Oh, yes, please! It would be really cool to win one of those big stuffed animals. I bet I could it if I could morph while playing the games, but I guess that would be considered cheating.” She paused for a moment to think, before following up with, “Someone told me they make the games harder than they look, though, so they’re cheating, too.” That seemed like something her father would come up with if he ran those games.
