Blog Reflection

It was such a good experience. I liked when I wrote a tumblr blog posting. telling my thoughts and reading other classmates' thoughts, I think I learned a lot of things about my friends. I could find new information about them.For example, I did not know that Ariel likes cars, but now I know because his blog theme is cars. As I read their blog, I learned and understood why they like that topic, and I kind of felt interested about classmates’ blog topics. Even some classmates who barely know me would probably learn more about me. I am not a fan of telling people my thoughts and don’t really post my thoughts in the social networks, so many of my classmates wouldn’t know what my favorite movie genre or music genre is. As I mentioned, I have never posted my thoughts, so it was a really great experience. I learned why people are doing blog posting, but I think it does not fit for me. So I think I might not post a tumblr blog anymore. Maybe, in future, I can log in, and see what I posted, what I liked, and what my friends’ thoughts. My tumblr will freeze and preserve my memory of junior year. Even though my memories will disappear, tumblr blog will stay forever if I don’t delete it, so whenever I come to tumblr, I feel that I become 18 and junior again. Well, this is my reflection of blog posting. Thank you all for reading my last blog and following me.

My Role Model: Elon Musk

Hello guys! I would like to talk about people or my role model that is important to my blog today. That person is Elon Musk. I think you guys already know who Elon Musk is because he is famous. He made paypal, and he owns Tesla and SpaceX. Why is he my role model? Because he is doing what he wants, and makes a lot of money also. I also want to make a lot of money by doing whatever I want. You might think ‘okay, I know why Elon Musk is your role model,  but how is he important to your blog?” Well, he was helpful in choosing the theme of my blog. How he was helpful? I was interested in Tesla’s Model 3, so I used to watch a lot of Youtube videos about that car, and I found one youtuber who posts his daily life with Model 3, and his taking video and editing skill was so nice, so I liked this theme. When I need to choose my theme for a blog, that theme has just popped up in my head, I choose it as my theme. Why has Elon helped me to choose them, but not that youtuber? It’s similar to praying before eating food. Thank God before eating food, even though he did not cook for you. You thanks to the creator, so do I. I just say thanks to the CEO of Tesla. Any ways, well, that’s all for today! I hope you guys have a good day!

Demon Slayer

Actually I am not a fan of Japanese animation, and I did not like Japanese animations and Japanese animated movies. So when “Demon Slayer” released on Netflix and became popular, I was not interested, and I did not watch it. However, one day, I tried to watch anything on Netflix, but there was nothing to watch, so I watched “Demon Slayer” because I was curious why people like this animation. Sadly, because of my location, I could not watch with Korean subtitles, so I watched episode 1 with English subtitles. Even though I watched with English subtitles, the first episode was so good. So I immediately bought VPN, and set my location in Korea, and watched other episodes. Since I have not watched every episode, I will not tell the main plot. If you are interested in this animation, I recommend you watch. My favorite character in this animation is Nezko. She is the sister of the protagonist, but she became a demon in 1 episode. Even though she became a demon, she tries to protect her brother, Tanjiro. This animation changed my perspective. I did not like Japanese animation, but after watching this, my thoughts changed to ‘well, some animation is good.’ You guys should try something that you didn’t like because it might change your perspective.

A Word From This Week’s Guest: Kaia Travilla

Life can be filled with exciting moments but there are definitely some days where you would feel unsure on what to do or maybe you just feel bored at that moment. I am here to give you a little guide for what to do this Summer or just to throw out some ideas for when you want to do something, but you don’t know what to do:

1. Grab some of your friends or family members and go out on a walk or hike. Being in nature is good for you as it is proven to reduce stress and anxiety.

2. Have a beach day! It is only fitting to head to the beach considering we live on an island with beaches left and right. Go for a swim and soak in the sun.

3. Go around your favorite snack places and get a variety of them. Head to a nice and shady spot to lay out your picnic blanket. Listen to some music, read a book, talk and eat with friends.

4. If you can drive or have something that can drive you around, you can go into tourist mode. Our island is filled with great views all around with tourist spots that you can check out and explore yourself.

5. Correlating to #4, go out for a nice stroll with the windows down and your favorite music blasting from the speakers.

Favorite Movie

Hey guys! I am going to talk about my favorite movie.I really like watching movies, and visiting theaters, so I want to introduce my favorite movie to you guys. Some of you might think that my favorite movie is an Avengers endgame because I am a big fan of Marvel Cinematic Universe, or MCU. Yeah, it’s true. I like MCU movies,and endgame, but they are not my favorite. My favorite movie is UP. It is an animation by Pixar. I will not tell the summary of the story because of spoilers, but this movie is about the journey of an old man and a kid. This movie is well made. I can say this movie is perfect. Music, story, and everything were good. Especially at the very end of this movie. Because of this movie, I watch every single movie when it is released. I strongly recommend this movie to watch. I guarantee you will love this movie.
