as an artist in the mcsr community it’s funny how many people have hoods/scarves. like every other day i draw hax or aqua and the scarves keep getting longer. and bigger.

It makes me sad how even in mcsr where there are well known voices against ai, it's still taken as a joke. It's not serious for anyone, just something to dunk for easy brownie points.

Edcr uses chat gpt for running, nhb makes ai generated images for fun, rek uses chat gpt for his editing process and no one cares. Yesterday infume made a joke about using grok and saps responded with "I'll tell couriway". It's seen as kinda lame instead of the actual ecological and economic danger it is.

It makes statements about how "ai is bad, guys" feel disingenuous when they don't even hold each other accountable.

im okay forgiving edcr now. imo hes a kid who made a mistake bc he didnt know better. ive forgiven people for a lot worse than ignorantly using a terrible tool that theyre being constantly encouraged to use (bc even tho mcsr is anti ai a lot of ppl in the real world are seriously committed to it) i dunno id just rather be the kind of person who forgives ppl and gives second chances than somebody who holds a mistake over somebody for months and months

i hope s11 playoffs can bring back player pronouns. i hope mcsr doesnt start becoming “less woke” in an attempt to grow their community. it is better to foster a smaller, healthy community than a larger, more annoying one. they have been leaning more into the esports side of things recently and i hope this can stay as one of the very few nontoxic (as nontoxic as an esport can get, at least) esport spaces. i hope we can all stay kind and respectful regardless of people's beliefs, even if we disagree with some of their actions. some actions may be harmful, but we must be willing to forgive people if they are willing to change.

also mods, thank you for putting the effort to run this account. it is interesting to see the takes here.
