Sweet Like Candy is Sena's debut mini-album, making her the fourth and final member of VENUS to debut solo. With a track list of eight songs, Sena performed the title tracks "Exes" and "Get Him Back" for a total of six weeks across various music shows and concert appearances. Exes would go on to win three music show awards, and Get Him Back would earn two.

Despite its divisive reception, Sweet Like Candy made a notable splash in the music scene. On its first release day, It sold over 1.8 million copies, showcasing Sena's shockingly strong fan base and the anticipation surrounding her solo debut. The album continued to perform well, reaching a total of 4 million copies sold.
The album's title tracks, "EXES" and "Get Him Back," quickly became fan favorites. OO1. Let's start off with the fact Sena's debut showcase SOLD OUT! All 15,000 seats were filled with constellations, her closest friends, and some other idols. You already know all of Venus was there cheering her on. They all made little signs to show their support. Klara wore a cute little headband with Sena's face on it that she and Elliot of Pushing Daisies; it was all very cute and a much-needed moment for Constellations.
Shockingly, Bliss was there to show her support alongside HautePink members Misun and Fame, which caused a lot of heated debate on constellation Twitter and some fan wars between them and Coutures, but what's new there?
Not only were the Venus girls there but a whole bunch of idols came to support their favorite fake maknae!

OO2. Sena did a lot of interviews for her debut! She was on PSICK SHOW, The Kstar Next Door, Buzzfeed UK, and Hong Seokcheon's Jewel Box! This girl was everywhere and capturing the hearts of literally everyone she interacted with. She also got her own variety show, "Sweet Like Sena," where she'd basically try to make candy from scratch every episode and fail miserably. She'd have some guests on the show, which caused some really fun and iconic moments, like when Klara joined her to make rock candy. They literally made the candy so hard it was like a rock, resulting in the girls losing their minds as they tried to see who could break the candy first. This was the first time Sena really got to show her variety skills and she did not disappoint!
OO3. While on PSICK SHOW, they repeatedly tried to get her to spill who the album was about, and she would not give it up! Either she'd laugh it off or answer with, "I think it's obvious. Listen to the songs." with a smirk on her face. There were a lot of speculations from fans, but most concluded that the album is either about Yeojun of Pushing Daisies; they did major detective work to come to this conclusion, like, building timelines based on posts, deleted posts, and when Sena and Yeojun were seen together or a member of Arm Candy due to the on the nose title of the album.
"I don't think it matters who it's about. It just matters that it's good," Sena would say during her PSICK interview as she played with the ends of her hair and puckered her lips at the camera, "but some of you guys are riiight!" She'd teased, laughing at herself and covering her mouth.
OO4. Every encore stage, she did something special like pulling her Venus members on stage with her, a tradition for Venus solos at this point, inhaling helium from some balloons to pitch her voice during a stage, dressing like a cat for one of them, and most famously letting her backup dancers sing while she danced which was a hit with fans. Her live vocals were praised for her stability, though she was trashed for an encore performance of "Get Him Back" where she was a bit pitchy and out of breath, but in her defense she was tired so!
OO5. Not many scandals! The only real notable ones were her outfits being "too revealing" or "try hard" which...wasn't a big deal. It stayed in the stan twitter bubble relatively so Sena never saw any of it despite being very active on social media.

The other scandal involved none other than our favorite DeepDive boy, Finn Lee! The pair were spotted out and about together A LOT, like if Sena was spotted by fans, Finn was right there behind her. Though they would consistently say they were just friends, they were also seen hugging and hanging onto each other outside of a club, which caused a bit of a stir. Still, they never cleared it up with fans, and Mydol never released a statement. This just wasn't at the top of the priorities list lol!
OO5. OVERALL! SENA HAS A GREAT TIME! She was always glowing when she was on stage or at fansigns and giving it her all every performance. It was a breath of fresh air for constellations fighting for their lives just a few months ago. It was really a good time, genuinely. Everyone was pretty happy and supportive of their girl, and she was so happy with how everything turned out! Despite not having much creative control over her music videos and outfits, she was super proud of how the songs turned out and how it all went about. Pretty smooth and overall happy era!

MORNINGSTAR sent members NIKO and ERIS to represent them at this year's Met Gala, and they positively blew everyone away!
Both of them showed up in the same limousine as their labelmates VARSITY, and Niko helped Eris step out of the limo, even going as far as to fix her skirt for her, fueling the fire that some fans had when it came to shipping them together. Both smiled at the cameras as they walked in, making their way down and posing together.
Eris came in dressed in a piece from MARCHESA'S vault, topped with a delicate silver face chain that she brought herself. When asked about it in her interview with Emma Chamberlain, she replied, "I just asked if I could bring it, and they said sure, so I brought it." The artist also had a beautiful flower crown made of purple and black roses, which she proudly mentioned was made by her older sister as she showed it off.
Niko, meanwhile, was elegantly dressed in ALEXANDER MCQUEEN, smiling politely at the cameras and waving. He also wore a silver face chain as an accessory, with his hair pulled back into a small ponytail. When interviewed, he told Emma Chamberlain, "My sister loves anything fashion related, so when she heard I was coming to the gala, she demanded that I get at least an autograph from Sabrina Carpenter and Ariana Grande."
For the afterparty, Niko came in dressed in BALMAIN, while Eris showed up in another piece from MARCHESA, showing up arm in arm as they entered. Immediately after entering however, they split up and went their own way, saying hello to the other celebrities who attended.
At the carpet, Eris was struggling to hold in her laughter at some of the other celebrities that attended. Later on in a live, she said, "Some of their outfits were too funnyβ I'm sorry, I couldn't take them seriously when they have the weirdest shit on."
Niko was spotted talking to soloist Hero quite a bit, smiles on their faces as they interacted. When he was asked about what they talked about, he simply responded with "It's a secret~" β making fans speculate about a possible collaboration.
Niko was spotted talking to Stray Kids' Hyunjin and S3ABORN3's Jooha, and he posed a few times with them separately.
Eris was spotted talking to Sydney Sweeney, Tyla, and Sabrina Carpenter both on the carpet and at the afterparty. She ended up exchanging numbers with the three of them, while taking separate pictures with each.
Eris and Niko accepted lollipops from VARSITY's Kaz with laughter; Eris made a face however as soon as she tasted hers β it was her least favorite flavor, grape. Her reaction made both Kaz and Niko laugh before she quickly took out the lollipop and snatched one that was not grape flavored.
Niko was called 'The Prince of the Gala' by many fans and non fans alike due to his visuals and polite and charming behavior. He trended #2 on X.
Niko did, in fact, get the autographs from Sabrina Carpenter and Ariana Grande for his sister. He also took pictures with them before politely thanking them.

"Chunja!" Niko laughs, tossing a pillow to the younger girl. "Didn't they teach you to not make fun of your elders?"
"Hmmm, nope!" Chunja giggles, popping the p over and over until Niko threatens to throw another pillow.
"Anyway," Niko says, looking back at the camera. "The way I love. . . The song that fits most would be Lana del Rey's Born to Die. To put it simply, I'll do anything for my partner, whether it'd be breaking laws or dating bans, I'll do it, no questions asked."
"You're also a bit crazy and need someone to actually be your voice of reason," Chunja adds. Niko laughs, nodding in agreement.
"Yeah, I also need my voice of reason. She has to be willing to do anything for me as well, though. I wouldn't be with Sowon if she didn't reciprocate. But she does, and we're just. . . we're good for each other. No matter what others may tell us, we're good. We're great."

bae sowon is good at keeping secrets, but is even better at preventing people from growing suspicious of hidden information in the first place.
though born into an incredibly wealthy family, sowon lost a lot of important people during her childhood and early teenage years. besides herself, all that is left is her mother, the one person who made sowon who she now is... but in the worst way possible. sowon will forever blame her mother for neglecting her when she needed a parental figure the most, it is her fault for the choices she had to make.
at least, that is what she has convinced herself.
more than a few years into her trainee career and later forced into providing for herself, sowon became desperate for money and began into illegal trading deals as a messenger. that's how it began, as a young adult searching to make ends meet. but it didn't end when she debuted, it only grew more serious.
that is when she met him.
sowon thinks nikolai only helped her because of how pathetic she probably looked, but he manipulated her into his own schemes and had her making deals for him as an underground fighter. except, niko's job is to fight to kill, and if sowon's safety was at risk he would not hesitate to finish the job in his own ways. innocent and naive, sowon let nikolai help her make ends meet. it was the first time someone actually needed her help, so she complied and fell further into a sketchy power system. she would gamble and try to make a deal, and if things didn't work that's when nikolai would interfere.
she wants to hate and curse his name, she wants to take back every single time she bet on his victory in the ring. her younger self wanted to scream at him that he's a terrible person for pulling her deeper into this life, and that it took half a decade for her to escape it.
but at some point, sowon began to lose herself. she began to harbor feelings, she began to care. she lost sight of the truth, that nikolai doesn't actually need her. that she is nothing but a pawn to him, until eventually it was no longer obvious she held no value. it was only meant to be purely professional, she was never supposed to become someone that nikolai needed- until she did.
she helped persuade people into giving them money, to bet on nikolai winning. the goal was to fool everyone that they were a couple, one that was trying to make ends meet and have their own vengeance.
at some point, the lines became blurred. when she wasn't doing her duties in NCT, she worked with niko on the side to help pay off her future debts. she openly lies about setting good examples, when she's the exact opposite of one. she fell more in love with his face than her job, hiding her truth with a kind face from everyone, promising to pull the trigger if they ever mentioned her connections with him.
that is, everything seemed to work until gaia saw her texting him and selfishly reported it to management- forbidding her from seeing nikolai without fully knowing what sowon was doing behind closed doors.
she craves for freedom, to take back her mother's wealth and run for the hills. but being tied to a contract like hers is a recipe for trouble, and how much longer can sowon seperate who she really is from her idol image?

" the staff member behind the camera asked, and almost immediately, all five nodded their heads, viva a tad bit later with daze in her eyes.
" we know of them, " cheska mumbles, softly patting viva's forearm as she talks, " most of us never actually met them because our promotions never seemed to match with theirs. "
" okay, should we just... do it? " aimee softly whispers, acting different for the first time in a while. tomie just nods and points towards the leader.
" i would rank NIKO first because it's obvious why he's the visual of the group, " the atmosphere starts looking better at the first person ranked, " i would then put ERIS as second, followed by ALEX, who is really cool, by the way! unbothered by the tension, jeanne iconically takes her phone, not looking up as she reads the ranks, " DUSK, then ISEUL as second. now, i couldn't decide whether to put ERIS third or keep SIAN in that place, " at that, the others once again look at each other, but let her finish, " i guess i can keep them both in third place, " with a quick mumble of something the mic couldn't pick up, she's fast to finish.
" i think ALEX is much more handsome to me than NIKO, so i'll put them in that order, and DUSK right after them. that's it, " with a quick press on the power button, jeanne finishes her part.
with aimee being the last one, it didn't take long for the ranking to finish, " well for me, i would put ALEX first because i agree with jeannie about him being the most handsome, " with a quick wink, she continues, " ISEUL, of course is second because she's hot as fuck, then NIKO as my third pick. He was mainly raised by a single mother and maternal grandparents after his father walked out on him and his mother when he was only five years old. Despite the financial problems they had, his mother made ends meet with the help of his grandparents. It was quickly seen just how smart Alex was, and his mother made sure to make him an all rounder of sorts, not just enrolling him into academic activities like the book club and the gifted and talented program in his school, but also extracurriculars such as orchestra, soccer, and art. His desire to become a Kpop idol started when he was fourteen, watching BTS' Dope and I Need U and GOT7's If I Do. MORNINGSTAR ( KR: λͺ¨λμ€ν ) is a seven membered coed group under STARBORN CREATIVE. The group was formed from a predebut project called DEVIL'S ADVOCATE, which consisted of twenty-one trainees that were slowly cut until only the final seven remained.
In 2018, MORNINGSTAR originally debuted as seven, with three girls and four boys, until it was suddenly announced before the group's first comeback that member DAEHYUN had departed from the group. As she was the most popular member of MORNINGSTAR, the group suffered a drastic drop of followers and streams, dropping into nugudom.
The group barely had any traction in the Kpop industry and was on the verge of disbanding, until members NIKO and SIAN went viral for dancing to Troublemaker by TROUBLEMAKER during an episode of Weekly Idol, pulling MORNINGSTAR out of nugudom. Following this, the group shot back up in terms of popularity, as many netizens grew an interest in their lore. Shortly after, member ERIS was added to the group, and all evidence of DAEHYUN was erased, as if she never existed in MORNINGSTAR, including the group's debut album, where her voice was replaced with ERIS'.
To this day, MORNINGSTAR continues to grow in popularity both domestically and internationally.
