She called out your name, she walked around the walls of the great nation known as L'manburg, She saw many of her friends building a podium, There was a presidential election coming up, A lot of people were stressed and trying to find something to distract them from the stress of doing well in the pole, That included Y/n, you were the one who stressed the most, So Niki offered some help, Baking was a hobby of hers, Maybe you would enjoy it too! And you did.
She found you a long a field of flowers, picking at the tulips and grass, You looked worried and forgetful, Niki sobbed, She cared about you a lot. She walked next to you, "Are you ok, Y/n?" She asked you calmly, not to upset you. "I'm fine, what did you need?" They asked the girl, "I just wanted to come and collect you for our daily baking." She said while placing a arm on your shoulder, You turned to look back at the wet grass. "Oh, sorry, I didn't know it was happening right now." You muttered, Niki gave a worried look.
"You seem so down lately, Is it because of the election coming up?" You nod, "It just seems like everyday, more people and party's are joining, What if we don't win?" You say, raising your voice a tiny bit. Niki rubbed your back. "It's alright, how about we just head to my bakery and make some cakes, Alright? Does that sound good." You nodded and gave her a sad smile, She smiled back at you, She stood up and reached for your hand, Which you took and pulled yourself up. She took your hand and started walking towards the direction of the bakery.
It wasn't a big one, It was like a small room built in a cave, But it was small and cozy, And you liked it a lot, She wanted to make it bigger for more customers, But you wanted to keep it the same because in your opinion is was 'cute, and cozy', She deiced to keep it the same thanks to your opinion, She liked you a lot, But never had any chance to say so, She thought she was far to shy and awkward to even have a chance with you, But this was the day.
(The kitchen will be describe by me, and whats in my mind, So it probably won't be the same as the canon bakery, Lol)
The walk wasn't far, Niki wanted to move it inside of l'manburg walls, but had no material to move it, so she kept it were it was, But closed it every night, just in case Sapnap came and set fire to it, Good thing she was in neutral with all of them, So was Y/n. you both entered the cave, It was nice inside, it was nicely decorated, with small tables lined with pink table clothes, A small room in the far corner of the room, it showed a couple furnaces and a counter to keep supplies on, In the other corner was a fire pit, It made sense since it was in the ground, it got cold easily.
Niki lead you towards the kitchen, She brought out eggs, Flour, milk and other supplies, just for baking, She placed them on the counter in front of you, She smiled and stared her eyes at you, "Thank you, Niki. I love how deeply you care about me." You sniffled a bit. She smiled wider. " I will always care about you, Y/n, now, Let's get cooking!" She said, She then pulled herself out some ingredients, some small pumpkins, some sugar, eggs, flour and milk. It seemed to be ingredients for pumpkin pie, You loved pumpkin pie.
You started the oven and started making the batter for the cake, You poured in the flour then some eggs, then milk, You grabbed a whisk and stirred until it was the right consistency, you then poured it into a pan and set a timer for the cake, You then put the cake in, The lovely aroma soon filled the air. "See, You seem better all ready!" She smiled while miking batter for the pie." You smiled at her comment, You loved it when she gave you happy comments, It made your day shine brighter then any star in the sky.
(now, I don't know how to make pie, but I do now how to make cake, So I'm going skip this part lmao)
She put in the batter next to yours. She sniffed the air, "Your getting so good at making cakes, There always as sweet as you." She said while laughing a bit, You looked over at her, then started to lean on the counter, "You always know how to make me smile." She smile, "This is the chance, Now or never." Niki thought to herself, she gave herself a deep breath and leaned forwards towards you, she then gave you a small kiss on the cheek, Making you blush slightly.
"I think your a very good person, Y/n, Never change!" She smiled, Then the timer dinged, The desserts were ready.
