"i think the problem is that they are much closer and much more likely to actually see the things written about them. they have much less protection than the men, not as sheltered from it"
Sorry I think this babying them over their own lack of impulse control. they can easily not read things written about them and create the distance especially Arsneal who get same amount of fans as men's team, it's on the to create the fourth wall now
we’re not talking about criticism to do with the game, we are talking about actual abuse. if you think what she says applies to you then…
Someone telling a player they’re not playing well = criticism.
Someone telling a player they hope they meet their mother who has passed away = abuse.
Hope that helps, anon.
"I got in a situation where I ended up going from injury to injury and not having the opportunity to come back in the right way."
"Don't get me wrong, I still know how to play football, and I think the girls have seen that, and I'm really excited to feel like that."
"I've always been extremely loyal to Arsenal, I've done every single thing with the thought process of 'this is the right thing for the club', and looking back maybe I should've made a step earlier."
"I think after the last two seasons that I've had, you somehow - expect is not the right word, but - you'd hope the same respect and and the same loyalty would be returned. If it's not, then that shows me that it is time for something new."
- Viv about the circumstances around her Arsenal departure.
I want more people to know that while the Palestine Olympic team consists of only 8 athletes, at least 69 Palestinian Olympic athletes have been killed since October 2023. This includes athletes who were going to compete in these games and retired athletes such as Majed Abu Maraheel, the first Palestinian Olympian, who died of kidney failure in a refugee camp product of lack of medical treatment.
Remember them during these games.
Our saviour. Thank you vivi 🧡🧡

LEWIS WINS THE 2024 BRITISH GRAND PRIX
I think some people struggle with realising this isn't a war. If they say there should be a ceasefire it might feel like they are saying Israel should lose and people may have connections to Jewish people and its difficult to separate the two. Obviously this isn't a war but an utter decimation of Palestinians and thats also difficult for some people to accept.
yep, it’s literally not that difficult to separate though. at this point it’s basic human understanding I’d expect everyone in my life to have. It’s just like people who equal being pro palestine with antisemitism, completely missing the fucking point. it’s so obvious that if this were any other community the world would not let them down like that, there’s a deep rooted western ideology, superiority and apartheid woven into this situation. ignoring it is leaning into your privilege.
a ceasefire literally benefits everyone — thinking you can eridicate an ideology or get hostages back by bombing an entire population is dense and they’re clearly hiding behind that to go on a mission they’ve shown dedication to since their existence of the israeli state, wipe gaza/palestinians out. they’re just traumatizing people, if you’re going to bomb my entire family I’d probably start hating everything associated with you too. there’s no win or lose. gazans have already lost everything. a ceasefire literally benefits everyone but zionists who don’t see palestinians as humans. which is why especially at this point, not saying anything is complicity with zionist ideology and genocide.

okay, i'm just gonna say it
Viv you shouldn't yell at your coach but i'm 100% sure that whatever you said was justified and correct
Emma leaving with nothing 😂
Interesting for Emma Hayes to suddenly bring this up now but never after any incidents in the past

She's a bad loser. I watched the video multiple times and it was Erin that went up to Jonas...he was shouting about the ball and the location of the throw in (which all managers do.)
It's funny because from seeing that and the end of the game, she's the aggressive one. Imagine the uproar if Jonas had been the one to push Emma.
