1. You don’t need a man to be happy The world will try to tell
I don't know who else needs to hear this today!
I loved being pregnant!! I cant believe it's been nearly four weeks. Miss that sweet little baby bump but luckily now I have a sweet little babe 💗
I 💚 my clients! I've always had a passion for helping local businesses. Here are the main three businesses I manage the social media for and I have a few more that I assist occassionally. Check out the content and let me know what you think! I'm always interested in feedback and constant improvement!

I've always been an advocate for stepping out of your comfort zone. It can difficult but so worth the growth potential for your mind, body, and soul.
I can be content in just about every place and situation. I love my life but I feel a change coming. A BIG change. I'm ready for it. The switch has flipped... I know that feeling from a long time ago. There's no turning back. What it may be, I have no clue, but I know patience is the key. I'm ready for the next chapter, something more. This life has so much potential and I want it all.
50 Days to Puerto Vallarta with one of my dearest friends!! Life goal include: work hard, play hard, stay humble, help others. Got the first two down and luckily they increase proportionally... just need to work on the other two.
Blessed/honored/lucky to have the opportunity to have another what is sure to be an amazing, beautiful, relaxing getaway so close to the last! I'm sure it will be needed at that point too!
Counting my blessings and counting down the days!
I started Meagan Reed Consulting in January 2012 as a part time gig. I had one “client” and would do a few projects for others here and there. It faded away when I moved to my current job in fall of 2013. I enjoyed doing it but my new job at that time was too time consuming to continue. After five years, my full time job is much more manageable and I’m ready for something more!
I love my full time job for giving me the freedom and flexibility to pursue passions. I didn’t intend to restart MRC last year but I found my dream client, Broad Street Yoga, and began their social media management in March. I still didn’t think much of it until she introduced me to two more clients - Eckert Chiropractic and FoodTruck.Pub. In January, I added a fourth - Aesthetique Brigitte!
I think I might be at my capacity for time management purposes, but I would really like to add a fifth client… I just like that number LOL! So I refreshed my logo and revamped the website (www.meaganreed.com). I like REALLY love doing this. So grateful for BSY taking a chance on me and getting me back to my roots. Maybe I could actually do it IRL someday!
So about the Dominican Republic... it.was.awesome! Tom and I did everything we wish we could do in normal life - ate healthy (food was so good. Rice and beans were a staple of course. Helpful that it was prepared by someone else). Went to the gym every day. I even hit my step count goal every day which I loved!! Even with sitting on the beach for hours. Read a book. Got a massage. Went to bed by 8pm almost every night. We're old. It was glorious. Much needed rest, relaxation, and recharging.
I love this quick list from the Canva Weekly Newsletter: January 4, 2019! Great reminders about the basics for good design work.
Good design gets its message across. How? By using ‘visual hierarchy’. Designers play around with things like color, size and spacing to create a hierarchy that places key messages front and center. Here are the five key elements of visual hierarchy. 1. Size. Scale up the most important part of your message. 2. Color. Use color and contrast to direct a viewer’s attention. 3. Typography. Use different sizes for headings, subheadings and body copy. 4. Fonts. Every font has a personality – so make sure you choose one that supports your message. 5. Spacing. Give your layout balance, flow and focus.
TEN FREAKING DAYS TO VACATION!!! I cannot believe it. My husband begrudgingly agrees to vacation about every two years. His time is up! He knew it was coming so it wasn't too bad telling him this time. Plus I gave it to him as part of his "birthday present" muahahah! Our usual deal is that I pay for it and he can't Complain before, during, or after at all, about anything! Honestly a win-win for us...
So BlueBay Villas Doradas Adults-Only All Inclusive Resort in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic here we come 😁😀😁 It looks beautiful. It's going to be amazing. But I am a terrible overpacker... The struggle is real. Too many cute outfits, too little suitcase space to bring them all. I'm really trying to be good this time. Is 15 outfits and 8 swimsuits for six days too much?
So blessed to have this opportunity to travel, relax, and spend QT with the hubby!
Hello 2019!
2018 was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G! I set out to find a new adventure at this time last year. I could not have fathomed the immense amount of insanity that was in store for me.
Most people think I'm kidding when I say I love working. I love being busy and having a lot of jobs. I don't really have hobbies... I have Hobby-Jobs. I seriously don't know any other way. So that is why 2018 was so perfect for me. I think I worked harder than I ever have before. Don't get me wrong, I was pretty exhausted... but I'm rested and recovered and ready for round two!
2019 is going to be another good one. So many dreams and goals!! I want ALL the resolutions! Save money, be healthy, travel the world, spend more time with family and friends, enjoy every moment. That is all...
It's in His hands.
Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
